1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your JIUYIN 9-inch Car Radio Multimedia Player. Designed specifically for Seat Ibiza MK4 6J models from 2008 to 2015, this head unit integrates advanced features such as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, GPS navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and Wi-Fi, enhancing your driving experience with modern multimedia capabilities.

2. Safety Information

• Read all instructions carefully before installation and use.
• Professional installation is recommended to avoid damage to the unit or vehicle.
• Do not operate the device in a way that distracts you from driving.
• Ensure all wiring is correctly connected to prevent electrical issues or battery drain.
• If your factory radio has a "warn button", this radio is not suitable for your car. Please verify compatibility before installation.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Compatibility Check

This unit is designed for Seat Ibiza MK4 6J models from 2008-2015. Before installation, ensure your vehicle does not have a factory radio with a "warn button" as this unit is not compatible in such cases.

4.2. Wiring Instructions

The unit features a direct plug-in design for special vehicles, ensuring no wire damage during installation. However, it is crucial to follow the wiring diagram carefully to prevent battery drain issues.

Important: Refer to Figure 4. Sockets labeled (1) and (2) must be disconnected. Incorrect connection will cause the radio to consume the car battery and prevent it from shutting down properly. Ensure the Canbus (3) is correctly connected.

4.3. Host Interface Description

Familiarize yourself with the various ports on the back of the head unit for proper connection of accessories.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. User Interface and Navigation

The unit features a new UI design with a full-fit HD QLED screen (1280*720P resolution) for wider viewing angles and clearer colors. It supports full-screen gesture operation for intuitive control.

A new taskbar design allows for customizable frequently used applications and one-touch switching of multiple tasks. An integrated music player allows you to switch songs while navigating. A custom control center provides quick access to settings like brightness and volume.

5.2. Connectivity

• Bluetooth: Automatically connects to your phone when you enter the car. Supports answering and hanging up calls to ensure safer driving.
• Wi-Fi & 4G: The unit can connect to your mobile phone's hotspot or accept a 4G data card (optional SIM cable required). This enables online music, video streaming, app downloads, and online navigation.
• Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto: Built-in support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allows seamless integration of your smartphone for maps, music, calls, and other apps. It also supports Siri voice-controlled navigation.

5.3. Multimedia and Audio

• DSP Amplifier with 48-Band EQ: Restore sound quality and adjust your favorite music style with the built-in DSP sound effects and 48-band EQ equalizer. Multiple scene modes are available.

5.4. Advanced Driving Features

• AHD Reversing Camera (Optional): Provides high-definition reversing images with automatic gear shift. The 6 high-transmittance glass lenses offer clearer images, making reversing safer.
• ADAS Anti-Collision Recorder (Optional): Intelligent lane and front vehicle identification with real-time voice playback. The ADAS recorder camera (optional) provides HD video recording with H.264 encoding, sharp imaging, and loop recording for protection.
• Tire Pressure Monitoring (Optional): Intelligent monitoring of tire pressure and temperature information with timely alarms. Voice checks are also supported with the optional nine-tone tire pressure sensor.

8. Troubleshooting

• Unit does not power on: Check power cable connections. Ensure sockets (1) and (2) are disconnected as per installation instructions. Verify vehicle's fuse.
• Battery drain issue: This is often caused by incorrect wiring. Re-check the wiring diagram (Figure 4) and ensure sockets (1) and (2) are disconnected.
• Poor GPS signal: Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed and has a clear line of sight to the sky.
• Bluetooth connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the head unit and your mobile device. Try restarting both devices.
• Screen unresponsive/freezing: Perform a soft reset by pressing the RST button (if available) or power cycling the unit. Ensure sufficient RAM/ROM (6G+128G models offer best performance).
• Sound quality issues: Adjust the DSP equalizer settings (Figure 8) to optimize audio output.

9. User Tips

• For optimal performance, consider models with higher RAM and ROM (e.g., 6G+128G) to prevent freezing or jamming, especially when running multiple applications or playing online games.
• Utilize the customizable taskbar to quickly switch between your most frequently used navigation, music, and communication apps.
• Take advantage of the intelligent voice control for hands-free operation of navigation, music, and calls to maintain focus on the road.
• If experiencing issues with steering wheel controls, ensure the Canbus connection is secure and correctly configured.
