1. Product Overview
The EASUN MPPT Solar Charge Controller is designed for efficient and intelligent management of solar power systems. It features Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technology to maximize energy harvest from solar panels, automatic 12V/24V system voltage recognition, and compatibility with various battery types including Sealed, Flooded, GEL, LiFePO4, and Li(NiCoMn)O2. This controller offers robust protection features and a user-friendly back-light LCD for easy monitoring and setting adjustments.

2. Safety Information
- Read all instructions carefully before installation and operation.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the controller.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the controller yourself. Contact qualified personnel.
- Always connect the battery first, then the solar panels, and finally the load. Disconnect in reverse order.
- Ensure all wiring is correctly polarized and securely connected to prevent damage.
- Use appropriate wire gauges for your system's current and distance.
3. Installation and Setup

3.2 Wiring Diagram and Precautions
Follow these steps carefully to connect the cables and install the system. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the controller or other components.

- Connect batteries: Ensure correct polarity.
- Connect the load: Connect your DC loads to the designated terminals.
- Connect the solar panels: Ensure correct polarity and voltage within the specified range.
- Connect the inverter to the battery: (Ignore this step if no inverter is used).

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 LCD Display and Button Functions
The controller features a back-light LCD display and two buttons for navigation and settings.

4.2 Boot Screen
When the system is powered on, the LCD will display the starting interface, followed by the battery voltage, and then the software revision.

Notice:
- At the first interface, long press the "MENU" button to enter the secondary interface.
- The controller will automatically switch to the first interface if no action is taken for 15 seconds.
4.3 Main Loop Pages
After the controller is powered on, the LCD screen will enter the main page. Short press "MENU" or "SET" to switch among the main loop pages:

4.4 Load Switch On/Off
From the main page, you can control the load output:
- Short press "SET" button: To switch on/off the load.
- Long press "MENU" for 3 seconds: To save settings.
- Long press "SET" for 3 seconds: To switch to the main page without saving settings.
4.5 System Voltage Setting
To set the system voltage (12V or 24V):

- Under the main page, long press "MENU" for 3 seconds to enter the setting page.
- Switch to the system voltage page.
- Long press "MENU" for 3 seconds until "AUTO" starts to flash.
- Short press "MENU" or "SET" to turn the system voltage to 12V or 24V.
4.6 Battery Type Setting
To set the battery type:

- Under the main page, long press "MENU" for 3 seconds to enter the setting page.
- Short press "MENU" to switch to the battery type page (user mode 1).
- Long press "MENU" for 3 seconds to enter battery type selection pages.
- Short press "MENU" or "SET" to switch among GEL battery, Sealed battery, Flooded battery, and Lithium batteries.
- For Lithium batteries, long press "MENU" for 3 seconds to enter a program for setting lithium battery's capacity. The parameters on the screen will start flashing.
- Long press "MENU" for 3 seconds, the parameter will become to battery capacity.
- Short press "MENU" or "SET" to set the capacity of the currently connected lithium batteries.
- After setting the parameters, save the data by long pressing "MENU" for 3 seconds.
4.7 Other Setting Pages
You can navigate through various other setting pages to fine-tune your controller's operation.
