- Custom Function Buttons: Reconfigure button actions, such as long-pressing the volume key for continuous adjustment or skipping songs.
- Firmware Upgrades (OTA): Receive and install over-the-air firmware updates directly through the app.
- Balanced Boost: Enable this function via the app for high impedance headphones to increase power output.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Care and Charging Protection
To prolong battery life, the BTR7 features a charging protection function. When using the BTR7 as a wired decoder for extended periods, enable this function in the FiiO Control App. It will stop charging when the battery reaches 80% and resume charging only when the battery drops below 20%.

6.2 General Care
- Keep the device clean and dry. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Use the provided leatherette case for protection against scratches and minor impacts.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device, as this will void the warranty.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Sound/Low Volume:
- Check volume levels on both the BTR7 and your source device.
- Ensure headphones are properly connected to the correct output (3.5mm or 4.4mm).
- Verify the BTR7 is correctly paired via Bluetooth or connected via USB DAC.
- If using high-impedance headphones, ensure "Balanced Boost" is enabled in the FiiO Control App.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues:
- Ensure the BTR7 is not connected to a computer in UAC 2.0 mode, which disables Bluetooth.
- Try unpairing and re-pairing the BTR7 with your source device.
- Ensure the BTR7 is within the 10-meter transmission distance from the source.
- PEQ/EQ Not Working:
- Ensure the BTR7 firmware is updated to the latest version.
- Note that PEQ/EQ is only valid in Bluetooth state and UAC 1.0 mode, not in UAC 2.0 mode.
- Device Not Recognized as USB DAC:
- Ensure the correct USB cable is used and properly connected.
- For UAC 2.0 mode on computers, check if the necessary drivers are installed from the FiiO website.
- Try switching between UAC 1.0 and UAC 2.0 modes on the BTR7 if applicable.
- Android Compatibility: The FiiO BTR7 is compatible with Android devices for both Bluetooth and USB DAC functions. Ensure your Android device supports OTG for USB DAC functionality.
