3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Headlight Installation

  1. Install the bracket conversion mount onto the handlebar hanging bracket.
  2. Select the appropriate washer (28mm, 32mm, or 35mm) to fit your bicycle's handlebar.
  3. Install the handlebar hanging bracket onto the handlebar.
  4. Place the headlight into the bracket conversion mount at a 45° angle, then rotate it to align the light correctly.
  5. Adjust the light angle to ensure the beam does not directly shine into the eyes of oncoming drivers or pedestrians.

3.2 Remote Control Installation

  1. Choose a suitable position on your handlebar for the remote control.
  2. Fix the remote control bracket using the provided strap.

3.3 Initial Unlock

Note: The product defaults to lock mode from the factory. For the first time use, please unlock the device.

  • To Unlock: Quickly press the power button 3 times until the power indicator light turns solid green.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Light Mode Selection

  • Power On/Off: Long press the power button for 0.5 seconds. The light has a mode memory function, resuming the last used lighting mode when turned on.
  • Switching Light Brightness Modes: While powered on, single-click the power button to cycle through brightness modes: High-Medium-Low-Slow Flash-Fast Flash.
  • Switching Beam Modes: While powered on, double-click the power button to switch between Low Beam, High Beam, and High & Low Beam simultaneous modes. Each beam mode has 5 light levels.

4.2 Wireless Remote Control

The wireless remote control allows for easy adjustment of light settings without removing your hands from the handlebars.

  • Power Button: Long press for 1 second to turn on/off. Short press when on for an extremely bright 'One Key Highlight' mode.
  • Brightness Switching: Click the upper left button.
  • High Beam Switching: Click the upper right button.
  • Low Beam Switching: Click the upper right corner button.

4.3 Real-Time Power Level Display

The headlight provides a real-time display of its battery level:

  • When Powered On: The lamp switch key flashes every 3 seconds to indicate remaining power.
  • When Powered Off: Short press the lamp switch key to display the remaining power.

4.4 Lighting Cut-Offline Design

The optical design of the headlight is specifically tailored for urban riding, providing effective illumination without dazzling others.

  • Secondary Light Spot: Lights up the front part of the wheel to make it easier to cope with obstacles.
  • Main Light Spot: When riding, the vision is mainly in the range of 4-40 meters. This area should be bright enough and evenly distributed, and at the same time should not be directly in the eyes of pedestrians.
  • Floodlighting: Allows oncoming traffic to notice you without dazzling other people, while keeping riders aware of their surroundings and road directions.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Charging Instructions

Ensure both the headlight and remote control are fully charged before first use.

Headlight Charging:

  1. Open the USB waterproof plug on the side of the light.
  2. Insert the Type-C charging cable into the USB Type-C port.
  3. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a charging device.
  4. For optimal charging, use a 5V-2A or higher USB power adapter.

Remote Control Charging:

  1. Open the USB waterproof plug on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert the Type-C charging cable into the USB Type-C port.
  3. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a charging device.

Charging Indicators:

  • Charging: Red light is steady.
  • Fully Charged: Green light is steady.

After charging, always unplug the charging cable and ensure the USB waterproof plug is securely covered.

5.2 Storage and Battery Care

  • If the product is not used for an extended period, it needs to be charged once every 3 months to prevent battery damage.
  • Store the light in a cool and dry place after fully charging.
  • Do not charge, discharge, or store the product in high-temperature environments, as this can accelerate battery aging.
  • Do not place the battery inside a car or near heat sources.
  • If the battery life shortens significantly after correct charging, it indicates the rechargeable battery has reached its effective service life. Please replace the battery at a local maintenance point and adhere to local regulations for proper disposal of discarded batteries.

5.3 General Warnings

  • Do not point the light head directly into eyes when powered on.
  • Avoid touching the metal head when using high brightness mode for extended periods, as it may become hot.
  • Do not allow children to use the product without adult supervision.
  • Charge the device at ambient temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.
  • Always check the charging cable for good condition before charging.
  • After charging, be sure to unplug the charging cable.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Lock Mode

The lock mode prevents accidental operation, high heat, or fire, especially during transport or storage.

  • Entering Lock Mode: When powered off, quickly press the power button three times until the power indicator flashes red.
  • Unlocking Mode: When in lock mode, quickly press the power button three times until the power indicator turns solid green.

6.2 Remote Control Pairing

To use the wireless remote control, it must first be paired with the headlight.

  • Pairing Process:
    1. When the headlight is powered on, quickly press its power button 3 times. The headlight's indicator light will turn green.
    2. Press any button on the remote control. The green indicator light on the headlight will stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.

Note: The remote control cannot operate the headlight when the headlight is in lock mode.

  • Brightness Selection: Use low brightness for general slow riding and high brightness for fast riding. Your eyes adapt to the environment, so the appropriate brightness is mainly determined by your riding speed.
  • Unlocking First Use: Remember to unlock the device by quickly pressing the power button 3 times until the power indicator turns green before its first use, as it ships in a locked state.
  • Regular Charging: To prolong battery life, charge the headlight and remote control every 3 months if not in regular use.
