3. Usage Instructions
3.1. Adjusting Blade Set
To ensure optimal cutting performance and prevent skin irritation, the blades must be correctly aligned. Follow these steps:
- Push the blade adjustment lever forward. The tips of the top moving blade should be positioned 0.5mm to 1.0mm behind the tips of the bottom fixed blade. This clearance is crucial to prevent skin cuts.
- The extreme left-hand tooth of the top moving blade must cover, or be slightly to the left of, the first small tooth of the bottom fixed blade.
- The extreme right-hand tooth of the top moving blade must touch the big tooth on the fixed bottom blade.
- If the blade alignment is incorrect, turn the clipper OFF.
- Slightly loosen the two screws at the bottom blade and carefully make the necessary adjustments according to the steps above.
- Once the blades are correctly aligned, tighten the screws securely.

3.2. Charging the Clipper
The clipper is equipped with a lithium-ion battery. For best performance, ensure it is fully charged before first use.
- Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the charging base and a suitable 5V-1A power adapter.
- Place the clipper onto the charging base.
- Charge the clipper for 3-4 hours before its initial use to achieve maximum battery performance.
- During charging, a red indicator light will illuminate.
- Once fully charged, the red indicator light will turn white.
- A full charge provides up to 150 minutes of run time. Note that battery life may decrease over time with prolonged use.

- **Cordless Operation**: The clipper provides reliable power for extended use on a full charge.
- **Corded Operation**: If the clipper's battery runs low during cordless use, you can connect it directly to a power source using the provided USB cable and adapter. The clipper will operate in corded mode, but it will not charge simultaneously during corded use.
3.4. Attaching and Removing Guide Combs
To use the magnetic guide combs:
- **Attaching**: Simply slide the cutter blade teeth into the guard until the magnets securely attach to the metal blade.
- **Removing**: Gently snap the guide comb off the blade.
- The length of the trim is indicated on each clipper guard.
4. Maintenance
4.1. Blade Oiling
Regular oiling is essential for maintaining blade performance and longevity.
- Oil the blades before, during, and after each use.
