4. Installation Guide

4.1 SIM Card Installation

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Locate the SIM card slot (2) on the tracker unit.
  3. Insert a valid 2G GSM SIM card into the slot. Ensure the SIM card is activated and has sufficient balance for GPRS data and SMS services.
  4. Close the SIM card slot securely.

4.2 Antenna Connection

  1. Connect the GPS antenna to the GPS Antenna connector (7).
  2. Connect the GSM antenna to the GSM Antenna connector (1).
  3. Position both antennas in a location with clear sky view for optimal signal reception.

  • Connect the red wire to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's power supply (12V-24V).
  • Connect the black wire to the negative (-) terminal or ground of the vehicle.
  • Connect the ACC wire (white) to the vehicle's ignition (ACC) line.
  • Connect the orange wire to the siren.
  • Connect the green wire to the positive door trigger and the blue wire to the negative door trigger.
  • Install the relay for fuel pump cut-off as shown in the diagram, connecting to the yellow and white +12V wires.
  • Connect the SOS button (black and red wires) and fuel sensor (white with black wire) if applicable.

Warning: Incorrect wiring can damage the device or vehicle. If you are unsure, seek professional installation.

4.4 Initial Power On

  1. After all connections are secure, switch on the backup battery switch (11).
  2. The GSM/GPS LED (10) will indicate the device status.
  3. Allow a few minutes for the device to acquire GPS signal and connect to the GSM network.

The BAANOOL IOT web platform allows for real-time vehicle management. Account name and password are the same for both the mobile app and web version.

  1. Registration: Open www.baanool.net to register a new account.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your IMEI number, account name, password, and mobile phone number for registration.
  3. Once registered, log in to access the tracking features.

5.2 Mobile Application (BAANOOL IoT)
