3. Setup

3.1 Battery Charging and Installation

  1. Before first use, fully charge both 12V Li-ion batteries using the provided power supply (charger). Connect the charger to a standard power outlet and then to the battery. The charger indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
  2. Once charged, slide a battery into the battery slot at the base of the angle grinder until it clicks securely into place.
  3. To remove the battery, press the release button (if present) and slide the battery out.

3.2 Grinding Disc Installation

Always ensure the tool is switched off and the battery is removed before installing or changing discs.

  1. Press and Hold Spindle Lock: Locate the humanized design spindle lock button on the grinder head. Press and hold it to prevent the spindle from rotating.
  2. Loosen Flange: Use the provided hex wrench to loosen the outer flange nut by turning it counter-clockwise. Remove the outer flange.
  3. Position Disc: Place the abrasive disc onto the inner flange, ensuring it is centered and flush. The disc should have a 10mm bore to fit the spindle.
  4. Replace Flange: Place the outer flange back onto the spindle, securing the disc.
  5. Tighten Flange: Use the hex wrench to tighten the outer flange nut clockwise until the disc is firmly secured. Do not overtighten.
  6. Release Spindle Lock: Release the spindle lock button. The disc should now be securely installed and ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Safety Precautions

  • Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped or held to prevent movement during operation.
  • Keep hands and body parts clear of the rotating disc.
  • Do not force the tool; let the disc do the work.

  • Never use damaged or incorrect discs.

4.2 Power On/Off

  1. To turn on the grinder, slide the side toggle switch to the 'ON' position.
  2. To turn off the grinder, slide the side toggle switch to the 'OFF' position.

  • Hold the grinder firmly with one hand, ensuring a secure grip on the non-slip handle.
  • Position the disc against the workpiece at the desired angle.
  • Turn on the grinder and allow the disc to reach full speed before making contact with the material.
  • Apply gentle, consistent pressure. Do not press too hard, as this can reduce efficiency and damage the disc or motor.
  • Move the grinder smoothly across the workpiece for even results.
  • When finished, lift the grinder from the workpiece and then turn it off. Wait for the disc to stop completely before setting the tool down.

4.4 Applications

  • Polishing: Use appropriate polishing pads for surface conditioning.

5. Maintenance
