4. Setup and Assembly

The MAIDeSITe Electric Chair Lift is designed for minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your lift for use:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Positioning: Place the chair lift on a firm, level surface where it will be used. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for safe operation and user transfer.
  3. Unfolding: Gently unfold the chair lift until it locks into its upright position. The side wings should extend outwards.
  4. Attach Seat Cushion: Secure the removable seat cushion onto the seat area.
  5. Secure Suction Cups: If using in a bathtub or on a smooth floor, press down firmly on the chair lift to engage the 6 suction cups at the base. Ensure they are securely attached to prevent movement.

  7. Charge Battery: Connect the power adapter to the remote control and a power outlet. Allow the battery to fully charge before first use. Note: The indicator light on the hand control may not illuminate during charging.

5. Operation

The chair lift is operated using the waterproof remote control. Familiarize yourself with the controls before use.

  1. Getting onto the Lift:
    • Ensure the chair lift is in its lowest position (approximately 3.4 inches from the floor).
    • Carefully position yourself or the user onto the seat, utilizing the foldable side wings for easier transfer if needed.
    • Ensure the user is centered and stable on the seat before operating the lift.
  2. Lifting Up:
    • Press and hold the "Up" button on the remote control. The chair will slowly raise.
    • Release the button when the desired height is reached (up to 19.5 inches from the floor).
    • The lift is designed to help users transition from the floor to a standing position or to a higher surface like a bed or wheelchair.
  3. Lowering Down:
    • Press and hold the "Down" button on the remote control. The chair will slowly lower.
    • Release the button when the desired height is reached, or when the chair is fully lowered to the floor.
  4. Emergency Stop:
    • In case of an emergency or if you need to stop the lift immediately, press the "Stop immediately" button on the remote control.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
