5. Setup

5.1. Connecting the Mouse

The AULA SC800 supports both 2.4G wireless and wired (USB-C) connections.

Wireless (2.4G) Connection:

  1. Locate the 8K wireless dongle (receiver) included in the package.
  2. Plug the wireless dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the power switch located on the bottom of the mouse.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect to the dongle. The receiver indicator light will confirm connection.

Wired (USB-C) Connection:

  1. Connect one end of the provided USB-C cable to the mouse.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  3. The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.

5.2. System Compatibility

The AULA SC800 is compatible with a wide range of operating systems including Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, Linux, and MAC. For older systems like Windows 95/98, specific drivers may be required. Typically, the mouse is plug-and-play on modern operating systems.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Basic Functions

  • Left/Right Click: Perform standard click actions.

6.2. DPI Adjustment

The mouse supports DPI adjustment from 1 to 26000. You can cycle through six default DPI gears:

  1. Press and hold the Forward Key and the Wheel Middle Button simultaneously.
  2. The mouse will cycle through the six default DPI gears.

  • Mouse not responding (Wired):

  • DPI adjustment not working:
    • Ensure you are pressing the Forward Key and Wheel Middle Button simultaneously.
    • Observe the receiver indicator light for color changes to confirm DPI cycling.
  • Cursor movement is erratic:

  • Drivers for older operating systems:
