2. Product Components and Overview

3. Setup and Installation
3.1. APP Download
To use the smart features of your doorbell, you need to download the "TUYA Smart" or "Smart Life" application on your mobile phone.
- For Android phones: Download from your device's app market or search for "TUYA Smart" in the App Treasure.
- For iOS phones: Search for "TUYA Smart" in the APP Store to download.
Note: The functions of this doorbell are only supported on APP version 4.3.0 and above. Please ensure your app is updated to the latest version for the best user experience.

3.2. APP Registration
- For first-time users, click "Register". If you already have an account, click "Login".
- Click "Register", read the "Privacy Policy", and click "Agree". Enter a valid mobile phone number or email address and click "Continue". Then enter the verification code to log in to the APP. (Note: "Try Now" login may not allow adding doorbell devices; please register and log in for full functionality).
- When APP permissions pop-up (e.g., message push, geographical location access, peripheral device connection), please set them to "Allow".
3.3. Adding a Device
- Ensure Bluetooth and location permission functions are enabled on your mobile phone.
- Press the doorbell button to start the device. The work indicator will blink, indicating the device has entered network mode.
- Open the APP, navigate to the "Home page", and click "+" on the upper right corner. The APP will automatically scan and discover the device. Click "Add".
- If the device is not automatically searched, click "Turn on Bluetooth" in the APP and ensure "Allow device permissions near this application" is set correctly. Access permission management, enable WLAN, Bluetooth, and nearby devices, and select "Always Allow".
- After adding the doorbell, enter your 2.4GHz wireless network account and password, then click "Next". Keep your router, mobile phone, and doorbell as close as possible during connection. After successful addition, click "Finish". (Note: If the connection fails, reset the device and try again).

3.4. Doorbell and Ding Dong Chime Matching
- Power on the Ding Dong chime.
- Long press the pairing button on the Ding Dong chime for 3 seconds. The indicator light will blink.
- Press the doorbell button. The Ding Dong chime will ring, indicating successful matching.

4. Operation
4.1. Mobile Message Push
When a visitor presses the doorbell, your mobile phone will receive an APP push message. Click the push popup to enter the video call interface.

Note: Due to variations in mobile phone models, the operation interface and options for notification settings may differ. Please adjust your phone's notification settings accordingly (e.g., Settings > Notifications > Application notification management > TUYA Smart/Smart Life > Allow notifications).
4.2. Video Call
During a video call, hold down the microphone key to speak and release to listen through the speaker.

4.3. Doorbell Sharing
To share access to your doorbell with family members, enter the real-time interface of the APP, click "Settings" > "Share device" > "Add Share", and enter the registered account of the family member.

4.4. Low Battery Reminder
When the doorbell's battery is low, the APP will push a low battery reminder. Please charge the doorbell in time.

6. Maintenance
- Keep the doorbell and chime clean by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the doorbell is charged when the low battery reminder is received. Use the provided USB cable for charging.
- Do not use the doorbell while it is charging.
7. Troubleshooting and Important Notes
- Device Offline/Hibernation: The device is a low-power doorbell. It will enter hibernation and go offline when no one rings the doorbell. This is normal behavior to conserve battery.
- Notification Issues: Push notification settings can vary significantly between mobile phone models. If you are not receiving notifications, please check your phone's notification settings for the "TUYA Smart" or "Smart Life" app and ensure all necessary permissions are granted.
- WiFi Connectivity: The doorbell only supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks. It does not support 5G WiFi or WiFi networks with special symbols in their names. Ensure your router is configured to use 2.4GHz.
- Signal Interference: Do not install the device on a metal wall, as this may interfere with WiFi signals and reduce performance.
- Memory Card Handling: The device supports TF card video storage. To prevent data loss or damage, do not insert or remove the memory card while the device is powered on.
- Charging Usage: For safety and optimal battery life, do not use the doorbell while it is charging.
