2. Package Contents

Please verify that all items are present and in good condition upon opening the package:

  • Main Head Unit (Machine)
  • Power Cable + Canbus Box (if applicable to your vehicle model)

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Wiring Diagram

Refer to the following diagram for connecting the main head unit to your vehicle's electrical system and peripherals. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the device.

3.2 Rear View Camera Connection

To connect an optional rear view camera, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the red cable (2) to the back light "+" terminal.
  2. Connect the black cable (1) to the "GND" (ground) terminal.
  3. Connect the reverse detection cable (4, brown color) to the red cable (3) which extends from the video output cable.
  4. Connect the camera's video output (5) to the head unit's camera input.

3.3 Steering Wheel Control Setup

Steering wheel controls allow for convenient operation of the head unit while driving. The setup process varies depending on whether your unit includes a Canbus box.

3.3.1 With Canbus Box

If your unit includes a Canbus box, ensure it and the 8-pin serial cable are properly connected to the multimedia system. Then, navigate to the system settings on the head unit to select your specific car model for automatic configuration.

3.3.2 Without Canbus Box

If your unit does not have a Canbus box, you will need to manually configure the steering wheel controls through the system settings. Access the 'Keys' or 'Steering Wheel Learn' menu and follow the on-screen instructions to map each button function.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 User Interface and Navigation

The head unit features an intuitive Android-based interface. You can customize themes and access various applications from the main menu.

4.2 Bluetooth Function

The built-in intelligent Bluetooth system allows for mobile phone pairing, hands-free calling, and music streaming. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your phone and the head unit, then search for and pair with the device.

4.3 CarPlay & Android Auto

The head unit supports both wireless CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration. No additional accessories are needed.

4.3.1 Wireless CarPlay Connection

  1. Connect your iPhone via Bluetooth.
  2. On the head unit, click on "R-Link" and wait for the connection.
  3. CarPlay can also be connected via USB cable.

4.3.2 Wireless Android Auto Connection

  1. Connect your Android phone via Bluetooth.
  2. On the head unit, click on "Android Auto App" and wait for the connection.
  3. Android Auto can also be connected via USB cable.

4.4 FM Radio

The FM radio supports both automatic and manual station search. You can drag and drop station icons to organize your channel list.

4.5 GPS Navigation

The unit features a built-in global positioning system with omni-directional map display. It provides synchronous display of real-time traffic conditions for rapid and accurate positioning. Supports various navigation apps like iGO, Sygic, Yandex, Google Maps, Waze, and AMAP.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Check all power connections and the vehicle's fuse box. Ensure the ignition is on.
  • No Sound: Verify speaker connections, volume levels, and audio settings (equalizer, sound field).
  • GPS Signal Loss: Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed and has a clear view of the sky. Check GPS settings in the unit.
  • Steering Wheel Controls Not Working: Re-check Canbus box connection (if applicable) or re-perform the manual steering wheel learning process.
  • Bluetooth Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices and try re-pairing. Clear previous pairings if necessary.
  • Screen Unresponsive: Try restarting the unit. If the issue persists, a factory reset might be necessary (refer to system settings).
