1. Introduction

3. Product Overview

Button Functions:

  • Left Button: Standard left-click function.
  • Right Button: Standard right-click function.
  • Middle Button (Scroll Wheel): Scroll up/down, middle-click.
  • Forward Button: Navigates forward in web browsers or applications.
  • Backward Button: Navigates backward in web browsers or applications.
  • DPI Switch: Cycles through preset DPI levels.
  • Mode Switching Key:
    • Short press to switch between Bluetooth channels.
    • Press and hold for 3 seconds to force Bluetooth code pairing.

Indicators:

  • DPI Indicator Light: Shows the current DPI level.
  • Modes Indicator Light: Indicates the current connection mode (Wired, 2.4G, or Bluetooth).

4. Setup and Connection

4.1 Charging the Mouse

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the mouse's Type-C port and to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).

  • The mouse features a 300mAh battery, providing approximately 65 hours of continuous working life.
  • A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

4.2 Tri-Mode Connection

The mouse supports three connection modes: Wired, 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.2. Use the 2.4G-OFF-BT switch on the bottom of the mouse to select your desired mode.

4.2.1 2.4G Wireless Connection:

  1. Locate the 2.4G-OFF-BT switch on the bottom of the mouse and slide it to the "2.4G" position.
  2. Take out the 2.4G USB receiver from its storage slot on the mouse's bottom.
  3. Plug the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  4. The mouse should automatically connect. The modes indicator light will confirm the connection.

4.2.2 Bluetooth Connection:

  1. Locate the 2.4G-OFF-BT switch on the bottom of the mouse and slide it to the "BT" position.
  2. On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
  3. Short press the "Mode Switching Key" on the bottom of the mouse to switch between Bluetooth channels (if applicable).
  4. To initiate pairing, press and hold the "Mode Switching Key" for 3 seconds. The modes indicator light will flash, indicating pairing mode.
  5. Select "Attack Shark X3/X3Pro" from the list of available Bluetooth devices on your computer/device to pair.

4.2.3 Wired Connection:

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the mouse's Type-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the Type-C cable to a USB port on your computer.
  3. The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 DPI Adjustment

The mouse features a high-precision PAW3395 sensor with up to 26,000 DPI. You can adjust the DPI sensitivity using the DPI Switch button on the bottom of the mouse. Each press cycles through preset DPI levels, indicated by the DPI indicator light.

5.2 Polling Rate (X3Pro Model)

The X3Pro model offers advanced polling rate options for ultra-responsive performance:

  • 2.4G Wireless Mode: Up to 4KHz polling rate.
  • Wired Mode: Up to 8KHz polling rate.

The X3 model supports up to 1000Hz return rate.

5.3 Programmable Buttons and Macro Drivers

Customize your mouse buttons and create macros for enhanced gaming and productivity. The mouse supports dedicated software for configuration.

The software allows you to:

  • Redefine key functions (e.g., MouseLeft, MouseRight, MouseWheelUp/Down, MouseForward, MouseBack).
  • Set up macro commands.
  • Adjust parameter settings like double-click interval time, roller simulation, and button shake elimination.
  • Fine-tune DPI settings across multiple levels.
  • Configure mouse return rate (polling rate).
  • Adjust silent height.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance, regularly clean your mouse:

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Clean the optical sensor area on the bottom of the mouse with a cotton swab to ensure accurate tracking.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Avoid exposing the mouse to extreme temperatures.
  • Do not fully discharge the battery frequently; charge it when the battery level is low.
  • If storing the mouse for an extended period, charge it to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your mouse, please refer to the following common solutions:
