This versatile device combines classic radio functionality with modern features, including FM/AM/SW bands, Bluetooth connectivity, USB and TF card playback, a built-in flashlight, and multiple power options including solar charging. This manual provides essential information for safe and optimal use of your new radio.

Setup
Powering the Radio
The M-16BTS radio offers multiple power supply options:
- 18650 Lithium-ion Battery:
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio. Insert a 3.7V 18650 lithium-ion battery, ensuring correct polarity. - D-type Dry Batteries:
Open the battery compartment cover. Insert three D-type dry batteries (DC 4.5V), ensuring correct polarity. (Note: D-type dry batteries are not included).

- AC Power:
Connect the provided AC power cable to the 220V charging hole on the back of the radio and plug it into a compatible wall outlet (AC: 110V/60HZ~220V/50HZ).

- DC 5V / Type-C Charging:
Use a compatible 5V DC or Type-C cable to charge the internal battery or power the unit. - Solar Charging:
The radio is equipped with an adjustable solar panel. For outdoor emergency charging, position the radio so the solar panel receives direct sunlight.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
- Power On/Off and Volume: Rotate the 'Volume/On/Off' knob clockwise to turn on the radio and increase volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and turn off.
- Mode Selection: Use the 'Band switching' slider switch to select between FM, AM, SW radio bands, or MP3/Bluetooth mode.
Radio Function (FM/AM/SW)
- Select Band: Slide the 'Band switching' switch to FM, AM, or SW.
- Extend Antenna: For optimal reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna.
- Tune to Station: Rotate the 'Tune' button to search for desired radio stations.
Bluetooth Playback
- Enter Bluetooth Mode: Slide the 'Band switching' switch to the 'BT' position. The radio will indicate it's ready for pairing.
- Pairing: On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select 'M-16BTS' to connect.
- Playback Control: Use your connected device or the 'Up/down track switch' on the radio to control playback.
USB/TF Card Playback
- Insert Media: Insert a USB drive into the USB port or a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF card slot.
- Select Mode: Slide the 'Band switching' switch to the 'MP3' position. The radio will automatically detect and play audio files.
- Playback Control: Use the 'Up/down track switch' to navigate between tracks.
Flashlight Function
To activate the built-in LED flashlight, slide the 'Torch Switch' to the ON position. This is useful for camping or in low-light conditions.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: If the radio will not be used for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage and damage.
- Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Water Exposure: This product is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
Troubleshooting
- No Power:
- Ensure the 'Volume/On/Off' knob is turned ON.
- Check if batteries are correctly inserted and charged, or if the AC adapter is properly connected.
- If using D-type batteries, ensure they are new or have sufficient charge.
- Poor Radio Reception:
- Fully extend the telescopic antenna.
- Try repositioning the radio or moving to a different location to improve signal strength.
- Switch between FM, AM, and SW bands to find the clearest signal.
- No Sound from USB/TF Card/Bluetooth:
- Ensure the 'Band switching' switch is set to the correct mode (MP3 for USB/TF, BT for Bluetooth).
- Check the volume level.
- For USB/TF, ensure the media contains compatible audio files and is inserted correctly.
- For Bluetooth, ensure the device is paired and connected.
- Solar Charging Not Working:
- Ensure the solar panel is clean and exposed to direct sunlight.
- Solar charging is primarily for emergency use and may be slower than AC or DC charging.
