3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Gamepad
The gamepad comes with a built-in 600mAh battery. Before first use, fully charge the gamepad. Connect the provided USB cable to the gamepad's charging port and to a power source (e.g., PC USB port, USB wall adapter). The theoretical charging time is less than 3 hours.
3.2 Connectivity Modes
The ThundeRobot G45 PC supports three connection modes: Wired, 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth.
3.2.1 Wired Connection
- Connect the gamepad to your PC or Nintendo Switch using the provided USB cable.
- The system should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
- The gamepad is ready for use.
3.2.2 2.4G Wireless Connection (PC, Switch, Android TV Box/Smart TV, Car Infotainment Systems)
- Insert the 2.4G wireless receiver into a USB port on your device (PC, Switch dock, Android TV, etc.).
- Turn on the gamepad. It should automatically pair with the receiver.
- The indicator lights on the gamepad will confirm a successful connection.
3.2.3 Bluetooth Connection (PC, Android Phones/Tablets, iOS MFI Games)
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Put the gamepad into Bluetooth pairing mode (refer to the specific button combination in the quick start guide, usually holding a specific button like 'FN' + 'Bluetooth button').
- On your device, search for new Bluetooth devices and select "ThundeRobot G45" (or similar) from the list.
- Confirm pairing. The gamepad indicator lights will show a successful connection.
Note for Nintendo Switch:
- The Switch supports wired and 2.4G receiver connections. Bluetooth direct connection is not supported for the Switch.
- Six-axis motion sensing, screenshot, and screen recording operations are available via wired or 2.4G connection.
Note for Android Devices:
- The gamepad is not compatible with Android virtual touch control.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Controls
The ThundeRobot G45 PC features a standard gamepad layout:
- Left/Right Joysticks: For movement and camera control.
- D-Pad: For directional input, especially in fighting games or menus.
- ABXY Buttons: Action buttons with Kailh micro switches for tactile feedback.
- Shoulder Buttons (L1/R1) & Triggers (L2/R2): For various in-game actions.

4.2 Turbo / Macro Programming
The gamepad allows for both Turbo Fire and Macro programming using the 'T' button and ergonomic back buttons.

5. Maintenance
5.1 General Care

5.2 Joystick Maintenance
The Hall Effect joysticks are designed for durability and drift-free performance. They feature a detachable design with an included metal ring for wear resistance and to prevent debris shedding. If you experience any issues, you can customize the joystick curve and dead zone via the companion software/app to fine-tune performance.

- Gamepad not connecting: Ensure the gamepad is charged. For 2.4G, check if the receiver is properly inserted. For Bluetooth, ensure the gamepad is in pairing mode and your device's Bluetooth is on. Try restarting both the gamepad and your device.
- Buttons or joysticks unresponsive: Check the connection. If using wireless, ensure the battery is not low. If issues persist, try updating the gamepad's firmware if available through the companion app.
- Joystick drift: The Hall Effect joysticks are designed to prevent drift. If you experience any, use the companion app to calibrate the joysticks or adjust the dead zone settings.
- RGB lighting not working: Ensure the gamepad is powered on and connected. Check the companion app settings for RGB customization.
- Short battery life: Ensure the gamepad is fully charged before use. Theoretical working time is approximately 10 hours, but this can vary depending on game intensity, vibration usage, and RGB lighting settings.
