XUNYOU-LINK 4G SIM WiFi Router User Manual

1. Introduction

The XUNYOU-LINK EC21 is a 4G indoor customer device designed to provide high-performance wireless access and comprehensive routing capabilities. It converts high-speed TDD/FDD 4G signals into WiFi signals, allowing both wireless and wired devices to connect simultaneously. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting your router.

3. Product Overview

3.1. Interfaces and Indicators

The router features multiple interfaces for connectivity and indicators for status monitoring.

  • Power: DC 12V/1A power input.
  • LAN1-4: 100Mbps LAN ports for high-speed wired transmission.
  • SIM Card Slot: Supports nano SIM cards only.
  • RST (Reset): Press and hold for 3 seconds to restore factory settings.

4.1. Supported Frequency Bands

The router comes in different versions to support various regional frequency bands:

  • Asia, Europe, Africa Version:
    • FDD LTE: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20
    • TDD LTE: B38/B40/B41
    • WCDMA: B1/B5/B8
  • South American Version:
    • FDD LTE: B2/B4/B5/B7/B28/B66
    • TDD LTE: B38/B40/B41
    • WCDMA: B2/B4/B5

5. Setup Guide

5.1. Initial Setup

  1. Insert SIM Card: Ensure the SIM card is a nano SIM and is active with a data plan. Carefully insert the SIM card into the designated slot on the router (refer to Figure 3 for location).
  2. Connect Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the router's power port and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Power On: The router will automatically power on. Wait approximately 1-2 minutes for the system to recognize the SIM card and initialize.
  4. Connect to WiFi: On your device (smartphone, laptop), search for available WiFi networks. Select the router's SSID (network name) and enter the password. The default SSID and password can be found on a label on the bottom of the router.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Accessing the Device Management Page

To configure advanced settings, you need to access the router's web management interface:

  1. Open a web browser on a device connected to the router's WiFi.
  2. Enter the default gateway IP address, which is typically 192.168.1.1, into the browser's address bar.
  3. Enter the default username and password. The default password is admin.
