3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the TG808 speaker and the integrated headphones. Connect the provided data cable to the DC 5V charging interface on the speaker and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The charging voltage is 5V/500MA.

3.2 Power On/Off

Locate the ON/OFF button on the speaker (refer to Figure 3). Press and hold to power the device on or off.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing (Speaker)

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (usually indicated by a flashing LED).
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'TG808' from the list of devices to connect.
  4. Once connected, the speaker will indicate a successful pairing (e.g., a steady LED light or an audio prompt).

The TG808 supports True Wireless Stereo (TWS) functionality, allowing you to connect two TG808 speakers for an enhanced stereo sound experience. 4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Controls and Interfaces

  • ON/OFF: Power button for the speaker.
  • Previous Song / Volume -: Short press for previous track, long press to decrease volume.
  • Next Song / Volume +: Short press for next track, long press to increase volume.
  • Play/Pause/Call Button: Short press to pause/play music. When a call comes in during Bluetooth mode, short press to answer hands-free. Press again to end the call.

4.2 Playback Functions

The TG808 supports various playback methods:

  • Bluetooth: Stream audio wirelessly from your paired device.
  • TF Card: Insert a TF (Micro SD) card (up to 32GB) into the TF card input interface to play stored MP3 audio files.
  • USB Drive: Insert a USB flash disk into the USB input interface to play stored MP3 audio files.
  • AUX Input: Connect an external audio source (MP3/MP4 player, computer) using a 3.5mm AUX cable to the AUX input interface.

4.3 Hands-free Calling

With its built-in microphone and noise elimination feature, the TG808 allows for convenient hands-free calls. When connected via Bluetooth, you can answer and end calls directly from the speaker using the Play/Pause/Call button.

4.4 Sound Modes

5. Maintenance

5.1 Waterproofing

The TG808 speaker features an IPX5 waterproof rating, meaning the strainer cover is waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof. This protects against low-pressure water jets from any direction. However, it is not designed for submersion in water. Do not expose the device to excessive moisture or submerge it.

5.2 Cleaning and Care

  • Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.
  • Keep the device away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
  • Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

5.3 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the device regularly, even if not in active use, to maintain battery health.
  • Do not expose the battery to high temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Power / Device Not Turning On

  • Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Check the charging cable and adapter for any damage.

6.2 Cannot Pair via Bluetooth

  • Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing LED).
  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your source device (phone, tablet, etc.).
  • Move the speaker closer to your source device (within 10 meters).
  • Turn off and on both the speaker and your source device's Bluetooth.
  • Clear the TG808 from your device's Bluetooth history and try pairing again.

6.3 No Sound or Low Volume

  • Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the device is properly paired via Bluetooth or that the AUX/TF/USB connection is secure.
  • If using TF card or USB, ensure the audio files are in a supported format (e.g., MP3).

6.4 Headphones Not Working

  • Ensure the headphones are properly seated in their charging case within the speaker.
  • Check if the headphones themselves are charged and powered on.
