3. Setup Guide
3.1 Charging the Printer
Before first use, fully charge the printer. The printer has a 3.7V, 2000mAh battery and takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge. Use the provided USB Type-C cable to connect the printer to a power source.
3.2 Loading Label Paper
- Open the printer's top cover.
- Insert the thermal label roll into the paper compartment. Ensure the printing side of the label faces upwards and the roll is aligned correctly.
- Feed the leading edge of the label paper through the printer's output slot.
- Close the top cover securely. The movable mechanism will keep the paper in place for perfect printing.

3.3 App Installation and Bluetooth Connection
- Scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide or search for the "OpenLabel" app on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Download and install the "OpenLabel" app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Turn on your printer and enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Open the "OpenLabel" app, click on 'Connect Machine', and select the "SINMARK SK20" printer model from the list of available devices to establish a Bluetooth connection.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Creating and Printing Labels
The "OpenLabel" app provides a user-friendly interface for designing and printing labels. It offers a variety of free label templates and allows you to create your own custom designs. You can edit and layout labels, and even support Excel batch printing for efficiency.
- Once connected via Bluetooth, open the "OpenLabel" app.
- Choose a template from the app's library or start a new design.
- Edit the text, add images, barcodes, or other elements as needed. The app supports various tools for customization.
- Preview your label design.
- Click the "Print" button to send the design to your SK20 printer.

The SK20 printer supports various label materials, including standard paper labels, transparent labels, and laser labels. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of applications:

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Print Head
To ensure optimal print quality, regularly clean the print head. Use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to gently wipe the print head surface. Allow it to dry completely before using the printer again.
5.2 Consumables
The SINMARK SK20 uses thermal printing technology, meaning it does not require ink ribbons or cartridges. Only thermal label paper is needed. Ensure you use compatible thermal paper rolls for best results. The printer supports paper widths from 20mm to 50mm.
5.3 Storage
Store the printer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The recommended storage temperature range is -20℃ to 60℃.
6. Troubleshooting
- Printer not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the printer to a power source using the USB Type-C cable.
- No print output: Check if the label paper is loaded correctly and the top cover is securely closed. Ensure the paper is thermal paper and the printing side is facing up.
- Poor print quality (faint or incomplete print): The print head might be dirty. Clean the print head as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure the label paper is not old or damaged.
- Bluetooth connection issues: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and the printer is within range. Try restarting both the printer and your mobile device, then attempt to reconnect via the "OpenLabel" app.
- App not recognizing printer: Ensure the app is updated to the latest version. Restart the app and try connecting again.
- Labels not feeding correctly: Check for any obstructions in the paper path. Ensure the label roll is properly seated and aligned.
