1. Introduction

The AGM M10 is a rugged flip phone designed for durability and ease of use, particularly suitable for elderly users or those requiring a robust device. It features large buttons, a loud speaker, and essential functions like FM radio, flashlight, and an SOS call button. Built to withstand harsh environments, the M10 is certified waterproof, dustproof, and drop-proof.

3. Setup

3.1. SIM Card and Memory Card Installation

  1. Open the back cover of the phone.
  2. Carefully remove the battery.
  3. Insert your Nano SIM cards into the designated SIM slots. The phone supports two SIM cards.
  4. If desired, insert a TF (MicroSD) card into the shared memory card slot for expanded storage (up to 128GB).
  5. Reinsert the battery and close the back cover securely.

3.2. Initial Charging

  1. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the phone's charging port.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a power adapter.
  3. Charge the phone fully before first use. A charging dock (sold separately) can also be used for convenience.

3.3. Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power/End Call button until the screen lights up.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power/End Call button, then select 'Power off' from the options.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Call Functions

  • Making a Call: Enter the phone number using the keypad and press the Green Call button.
  • Answering a Call: Press the Green Call button when the phone rings.
  • Ending a Call: Press the Red End Call button.

4.2. SOS Function

The dedicated SOS button can be configured to call pre-set emergency contacts. Press and hold the SOS button on the back of the phone to activate the emergency call sequence.

4.3. FM Radio

Press the dedicated FM Radio button to quickly access the radio function. Ensure headphones are connected as they often act as the antenna.

4.4. Flashlight

Press the quick-access flashlight button to turn the flashlight on or off.

4.5. Navigation

Use the directional keypad and the central selection button to navigate through menus and options on the 2.4-inch screen.

4.6. Language Settings

The Global/EU/US version supports English, French, Hungarian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Italian, German, Greek, Czech, Slovenian, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Serbian, Swedish, Ukrainian, Arabic, and Hebrew. The Russian version supports English and Russian. To change the language, navigate to the phone's settings menu.

4.7. Bluetooth Pairing

To pair with a Bluetooth device (e.g., headphones):

  1. Go to the phone's settings menu and select 'Bluetooth'.
  2. Turn Bluetooth on.
  3. Search for available devices and select your device to pair.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning

Due to its rugged design (IP68/IP69K), the phone can be cleaned with water and mild soap if it gets dirty. Ensure all ports are closed before cleaning. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

5.2. Battery Care

  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
  • Do not puncture or damage the battery.
  • If the phone will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% before storing.

5.3. Storage

Store the phone in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Phone Not Turning On

  • Ensure the battery is properly installed and charged.
  • Connect the phone to a charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on again.

6.2. No Network Signal

  • Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted.
  • Verify that your SIM card is active and has service.
  • Ensure you have the correct version of the phone for your region's network bands. The US version is primarily for T-Mobile USA.

6.3. SOS Button Not Working

  • Ensure emergency contacts are properly set up in the phone's settings.
  • Test the function in a non-emergency situation to confirm it's working.

6.4. Display Issues

  • If the screen is unresponsive or frozen, try restarting the phone by removing and reinserting the battery.

  • Network Compatibility: Always verify that the phone version (US, EU, or Global) is compatible with your local network provider's bands. The US version is specifically noted to work only with T-Mobile USA.
  • Language Support: While the phone supports many languages, Chinese is not listed for the Global/EU/US versions. If Chinese language support is critical, please confirm with the seller before purchase.
  • Operating System: The AGM M10 runs on THreadx, not Android. This means it will have a simpler interface and may not support Android-specific accessibility features like voice-over for visually impaired users.
  • Charging Dock: Consider purchasing the optional charging dock for easier and more convenient charging, especially for users with limited dexterity.
