Setup Guide

1. Connecting the Endoscope Cable

  1. Locate the aviation end cable connector on the top of the main display unit.
  2. Align the cable connector with the port and gently push it in.
  3. Twist the threaded collar on the cable connector clockwise to secure it firmly. This ensures a stable and clear image.

2. Inserting the TF Card

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the side of the display unit, usually protected by a rubber flap.
  2. Open the flap and insert the provided 32GB TF card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down. Push until it clicks into place.
  3. Close the rubber flap to protect the slot from dust and moisture.

3. Charging the Device

The endoscope is equipped with a 2000mAh rechargeable polymer lithium battery. Before first use, ensure the device is fully charged.

  • Connect the provided Type-C to USB cable to the Type-C port on the side of the display unit.
  • Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V 1A/5V 2A USB power adapter (not included).
  • A charging indicator will typically appear on the screen. A full charge takes approximately 5-6 hours and provides about 3.5 hours of continuous working time.

4. Attaching Accessories

The endoscope comes with several useful attachments:

  • Hook: Used to retrieve objects with holes.
  • Magnet: Used to absorb metal materials dropped in deep or hard-to-reach areas.
  • Side Mirror: Increases the observation range at a 90° angle, useful for viewing sides of pipes or narrow spaces.

To attach an accessory, carefully screw it onto the tip of the endoscope camera.

Operating Instructions

Control Buttons Overview

  • Power/Light Adjustment Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to adjust LED light brightness.
  • Back/Menu Key: Navigates back in menus or opens the main menu.
  • Up/Zoom In/Screen Rotation Key: Navigates up in menus, zooms in on the image, or rotates the screen.
  • Photo/Video Button: Short press to take a photo. Long press to start/stop video recording.
  • OK/Switch Key: Confirms selections in menus or switches between modes.
  • Down/Zoom Out/Screen Rotation Key: Navigates down in menus, zooms out on the image, or rotates the screen.

Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the screen illuminates.
  2. Adjusting LED Lights: Short press the Power/Light Adjustment button to cycle through 3 levels of LED brightness. This is crucial for clear visibility in dark environments.
  3. Taking Photos: In live view mode, short press the Photo/Video button. Photos are saved to the TF card with 1920x1080 resolution.
  4. Recording Videos: In live view mode, long press the Photo/Video button to start recording. Long press again to stop. Videos are saved to the TF card with 1920x1080 resolution.
  5. Zoom Function: Use the Up/Zoom In and Down/Zoom Out buttons to digitally zoom the image. The device supports 3 levels of zoom.
  6. Screen Rotation: Use the Up/Zoom In/Screen Rotation or Down/Zoom Out/Screen Rotation keys to rotate the display for optimal viewing angle.
  7. Focus Distance: The optimal focus distance for clear images is 40-80mm.
  8. Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the screen turns off.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens and Cable: The endoscope camera and cable are IP67 waterproof. After use in wet or dirty environments, wipe the lens and cable with a damp cloth. For stubborn dirt, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by rinsing with clean water. Ensure the Type-C port and TF card slot are sealed by their rubber flaps before cleaning.
  • Storage: Store the endoscope in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the cable is neatly coiled without sharp bends to prevent damage.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods (e.g., once every 3 months).

Troubleshooting

Problem: Device does not power on.
Solution: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the Type-C cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again. Check if the power button is pressed and held sufficiently.
Problem: Image on screen is blurry or unclear.
  • Ensure the lens is clean and free from dirt or debris.
  • Adjust the distance between the camera lens and the object. The optimal focus distance is 40-80mm.
  • Adjust the LED light brightness to improve visibility in dark areas.
  • Check the cable connection to the main unit; ensure it is securely fastened.
Problem: Cannot save photos or videos.
  • Verify that the 32GB TF card is correctly inserted into the slot.
  • Check if the TF card has sufficient free space. If full, transfer files to a computer and delete them from the card, or replace the card.
  • Ensure the device is in the correct mode (photo or video) before attempting to capture.
