4. Setup

4.1 Assembly

The ATOMSTACK M4 is designed for quick installation. Typically, assembly can be completed within 10-20 minutes.

  1. Attach the lifting shaft to the base cover.
  2. Secure the laser components (main unit) onto the lifting shaft.
  3. Place the marking cover over the laser head.
  4. Connect the power cable and USB cable.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Engraving Process

  1. Prepare Material: Place your material on the work table, ensuring it is stable and within the 70x70mm engraving area.
  2. Connect: Connect the M4 to your computer via USB and ensure it is powered on.
  3. Software Setup: Open the engraving software (e.g., Lightburn). Import or create your design.
  4. Positioning: Use the double red light positioning feature to align your design on the material. Adjust the laser head height using the knob and ruler for optimal focus.
  5. Parameter Settings: Adjust engraving parameters (speed, power, passes) based on your material and desired effect. Refer to the material compatibility table for guidance.
  6. Start Engraving: Initiate the engraving process from the software. Monitor the machine during operation.
