4. Setup

4.1 Connecting the Printer

The ZY808 printer uses 79.5 ± 0.5mm wide thermal paper rolls with a maximum diameter of Φ83mm. Ensure you use thermal paper only, as no ink, toner, or ribbon is required.

  1. Open the printer's top cover by pressing the release button or latch.
  2. Place the thermal paper roll into the paper compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the leading edge is straight.
  3. Pull a small amount of paper out past the cutter.
  4. Close the top cover firmly until it clicks into place.

5.1 Printing a Receipt

Once the printer is connected and drivers are installed, you can print receipts from your POS software or application. The ZY808 offers clear, high-definition, and stable printing.
