5. Installation
The DUSKTEC RAW spotlights are designed for uncomplicated embedded installation.
- Prepare the Ceiling: Ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the circuit breaker. Mark the desired location for each spotlight.
- Cut the Hole: Using a suitable hole saw, cut a circular hole in the ceiling with a diameter between 68mm and 85mm. The required ceiling depth is 44mm.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the AC 200-240V power supply wires to the integrated LED driver of the spotlight. Ensure proper polarity and secure connections.
- Insert the Spotlight: Gently push the spring clips on the sides of the spotlight upwards and insert the spotlight into the cutout hole. The clips will secure the spotlight in place against the ceiling.
- Restore Power: Once all spotlights are installed, restore power to the circuit.
6. Operation
Your DUSKTEC RAW spotlights can be controlled via the BRmesh APP and Alexa voice commands.
6.1. BRmesh APP Control
- Download the App: Search for "BRmesh" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and download the application.
- Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Pairing: Open the BRmesh APP. The app will automatically detect nearby DUSKTEC RAW spotlights via Bluetooth 5.0 MESH technology. No hub or registration is required.
- Control: Once paired, you can control individual spotlights or group them together for synchronized control.
