  • Check for Loose Parts: Regularly inspect all screws and connections to ensure they are secure. Tighten any loose components.

7. Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

7.1 Engraver Shuts Down Unexpectedly

  • Issue: Engraver stops mid-operation.
  • Possible Cause 1 (Move Protection): The machine was moved or vibrated significantly during operation.
  • Solution: Ensure the engraver is placed on a stable surface and avoid touching it during operation.
  • Possible Cause 2 (Thermal Protection): A flame was detected, or the engraving area overheated.
  • Solution: Check for flames or excessive smoke. Ensure proper ventilation. Reduce laser power or engraving speed if overheating persists.

7.2 Software Connection Issues

  • Issue: Cannot connect the engraver to LaserGRBL or LightBurn via USB or WiFi.
  • Solution (USB): Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the engraver and your computer. Install the necessary drivers if prompted by the software.
  • Solution (WiFi): Verify the engraver is connected to your local WiFi network. Check your router settings and ensure no firewalls are blocking the connection. Refer to the user manual for specific WiFi setup steps.

7.3 Poor Engraving/Cutting Quality

  • Issue: Engravings are faint, blurry, or cuts are incomplete.
  • Solution: Check the laser focus. Ensure the material is at the optimal focal distance (30mm from the laser module). Adjust laser power and speed settings in your software. Ensure the material is suitable for the laser's power output.
