  3. Remove Old Head (if applicable): Gently pull the old toothbrush head straight off the handle. Do not twist.
  4. Attach New Head: Align the new replacement head with the metal shaft on the toothbrush handle. Push the head down firmly until it clicks into place. There should be a small gap between the head and the handle, which is normal for sonic toothbrushes to allow for vibration.

3. Operating Instructions

Once the replacement head is securely attached, your electric toothbrush is ready for use. Refer to your electric toothbrush's main manual for specific operating modes and instructions.

  1. Wet the Bristles: Rinse the bristles of the new brush head under running water.
  2. Apply Toothpaste: Apply a small amount of toothpaste to the bristles.
  3. Power On: Place the brush head in your mouth before turning on the toothbrush to prevent splashing.
  4. Brush Gently: Guide the brush head slowly from tooth to tooth, allowing the sonic vibrations to do the cleaning. Do not scrub aggressively.
  5. Brush All Surfaces: Ensure you brush all surfaces of your teeth (outer, inner, and chewing surfaces).
  6. Rinse After Use: After brushing, turn off the toothbrush, remove it from your mouth, and rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water.

4. Maintenance and Care

  • Daily Cleaning: After each use, rinse the brush head thoroughly under running water to remove any toothpaste residue and debris.
  • Air Dry: Allow the brush head to air dry in an upright position.
  • Storage: Store the brush head in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
  • Replacement Frequency: Dentists recommend replacing your toothbrush head every three months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed or worn. Worn bristles are less effective at cleaning and can harbor more bacteria.
  • Four white replacement toothbrush heads.

5. Troubleshooting

Problem: Brush head does not fit or is loose.
Solution: Double-check that your toothbrush handle is one of the compatible models (M07, M08, M07B, 702, 722). Ensure you are pushing the head straight down onto the shaft until it clicks. Do not twist. If it's still loose, the head might be incompatible or defective.
Problem: Poor cleaning performance.
Solution: Ensure the brush head is securely attached. Check if the bristles are worn or frayed; if so, replace the head. Make sure you are using proper brushing technique as described in your toothbrush's main manual.
Problem: Bristles fraying quickly.
Solution: This often indicates brushing too hard. Electric toothbrushes are designed to clean effectively with minimal pressure. Reduce the pressure applied during brushing.
