4. Installation
Important Safety Information:
- Always disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installing or servicing the thermostat.

The MOES Smart Thermostat comes in three versions (GA, GB, GC) tailored for different heating systems. Please identify your thermostat version and heating type before proceeding with installation.

Wiring Diagrams:
Refer to the back of your thermostat for the specific wiring terminals. The terminals are typically labeled L (Live), N (Neutral), LOAD (1, 2), and NTC (3, 4).
GA Version (Water Heating / Gas Boiler - Max 5A)
- Connect the Live wire from your power supply to terminal 'L'.
- Connect the Neutral wire from your power supply to terminal 'N'.
- Connect the load wires (from your water heating system or gas boiler) to terminals '1' and '2'.
- If using an external temperature sensor, connect its wires to terminals '3' and '4' (NTC).

GB Version (Electric Heating - Max 16A)
- Connect the Live wire from your power supply to terminal 'L'.
- Connect the Neutral wire from your power supply to terminal 'N'.

The MOES Smart Thermostat supports both the MOES/Tuya Smart Life app and Apple Home for configuration and control.
5.1 MOES / Tuya Smart Life App Configuration
- Ensure your thermostat is powered on.
- Open the MOES or Tuya Smart Life app on your smartphone.
- Tap the '+' icon to add a new device.
- Scan the QR code located on the back of the thermostat's main unit (visible when detached from the wall plate).
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the device pairing. The app will search for and link the device.

5.2 Apple Home App Configuration
For Apple HomeKit integration, you will use the Matter setup code.
- Ensure your thermostat is powered on.
- Open the Apple Home app on your iOS device.

- Choose "Scan Setup Code" or "Hold iPhone Near Accessory".
