Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to install and set up your REDTIGER F7N PRO Dash Camera:
1. Unboxing and Component Identification
Before installation, familiarize yourself with all components. The following video demonstrates the unboxing and shows the main parts of the dash camera system.
2. Mounting the Dash Camera
- Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dash camera. Ensure it does not obstruct your view.
- Apply an electrostatic sticker to the cleaned area on the windshield. This helps protect your windshield and makes removal easier.
- Attach the 180° rotatable GPS mount to the main dash camera unit.
- Remove the protective film from the adhesive pad on the GPS mount and firmly press it onto the electrostatic sticker on your windshield.

3. Wiring and Power Connection
- Connect the USB-C power cable to the dash camera and plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Use the provided car wire trim tool to neatly tuck the power cable along the edges of your windshield and dashboard to conceal it.
- Connect the 21.3ft rear camera cable to the main dash camera unit and route it to the rear of your vehicle. Ensure the cable is securely tucked away to avoid interference with airbags or other vehicle functions.
- Mount the rear camera on your rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.

4. Inserting the Memory Card
Insert the provided 64GB TF card into the designated slot on the dash camera. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.
5. Initial Power On and Formatting
Once connected to power, the dash camera should automatically power on with your vehicle. It is highly recommended to format the memory card through the dash camera's settings menu before first use and periodically thereafter to ensure optimal performance and prevent recording errors.
Operating Instructions
1. Automatic Recording
The dash camera will automatically start recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on and stop when the ignition is turned off. Footage is recorded in a continuous loop, overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full.
2. Loop Recording
Videos are recorded in 1, 3, or 5-minute segments. When the memory card reaches its capacity, the oldest unprotected files will be automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. Important videos can be manually locked or automatically locked by the G-sensor during an event.

3. Parking Monitoring
The F7N PRO offers two parking monitoring modes:
- G-Sensor Mode: When a collision or intrusion is detected, the dash cam will automatically start recording and lock the video file.
- Time-lapse Mode: The dash cam records continuously at 1 frame per second, compressing footage to save space while monitoring your vehicle.
For 24-hour parking monitoring, a hardwire kit (not included in all packages) is required to provide continuous power to the dash camera when the vehicle is off.

4. Wi-Fi & App Control
Download the REDTIGER app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Connect your smartphone to the dash camera's Wi-Fi network to access features such as:
- Live view of recordings
- Playback recorded videos
- Download videos to your phone
- Adjust camera settings
- Track GPS routes and speed
- Perform OTA (Over-The-Air) firmware updates

5. GPS Tracking
The built-in GPS module automatically synchronizes location, speed, and date information with your video files. This data can be viewed during playback on the app or a compatible PC player.

6. Rear Camera Features
The rear camera offers a 360° rotation capability. Through the dash cam's settings or the mobile app, you can adjust the view with mirror flip and vertical flip options to suit your installation and preference.

Maintenance
- Memory Card Formatting: To ensure stable recording and prevent data corruption, it is recommended to format the memory card at least once a month. This can be done through the dash camera's settings menu.
- Lens Cleaning: Regularly clean the front and rear camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Cable Management: Periodically check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and not interfering with vehicle operation.
- Temperature Range: The dash camera is designed to operate within a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C. Avoid prolonged exposure to temperatures outside this range. The super capacitor design enhances durability in extreme conditions.

Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Check the power cable connection to the dash cam and the car charger. Ensure the car charger is firmly seated in the cigarette lighter socket and the vehicle's ignition is on.
- Recording Errors / SD Card Issues: If you experience recording errors or the dash cam prompts about the SD card, try formatting the card through the camera's settings. If the issue persists, the card may be faulty and require replacement. Ensure you are using a Class 10 or higher speed memory card.
- Parking Monitor Not Working for 24 Hours: The 24-hour parking monitor feature requires a hardwire kit (sold separately) to provide continuous power to the dash cam when the vehicle is off. Without it, parking monitoring may only function when the car is running or for a short period after shutdown.
- Wi-Fi Connection Problems: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the dash cam and your smartphone. Try restarting both devices. Make sure you are connecting to the correct Wi-Fi network broadcasted by the dash cam.
- GPS Not Tracking: Ensure the GPS mount is correctly attached and has a clear view of the sky. Verify GPS settings in the dash cam menu or app.
- Poor Video Quality: Clean the camera lenses. Check the video resolution settings in the menu. Ensure the protective film has been removed from the lenses.
