2. Safety Instructions

  • Always ensure the lamp is connected to a compatible USB power source (e.g., 5V/1A or 5V/2A USB adapter).

4. Setup Instructions

  1. Attach the Desk Clamp:
    Securely fasten the desk clamp to a stable surface such as a desk or workbench. Turn the screw on the clamp until it is tight. For Type B, the clamp width is 2.4 inches. For Type A, the clamp supports a maximum table thickness of 2.1 inches and a minimum width of 1.4 inches. The clamp features a sponge design to prevent damage to your table.

  3. Insert the Lamp Arm:
    Insert the base of the lamp's arm (either gooseneck or articulated) into the hole on the top of the desk clamp. Ensure it is firmly seated.
  4. Connect Power:
    Plug the USB power cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on your computer.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Adjusting the Lamp Arm

  • Type B (Gooseneck Arm): The flexible gooseneck hose (14.9 in / 37.85 cm) allows for easy 360-degree adjustment of the lighting angle. Simply bend the gooseneck to position the lamp as needed.
  • Type A (Articulated Arm): This model features an articulated arm with 3 knobs and 4 springs, allowing for stable positioning at any desired angle. Adjust the arm sections to achieve your preferred height and orientation.

5.2 Using the Inline Controller

The USB power cable includes an inline controller with the following buttons:

  • ON/OFF Button: Press to turn the lamp on or off.
  • '+' Button (Increase Light): Press to increase the brightness level. There are 10 brightness dimming levels, allowing adjustment between 10% and 100%.
  • '-' Button (Decrease Light): Press to decrease the brightness level.
  • Circle Arrow Button (Change Light Color): Press to cycle through the 3 available lighting modes: Warm Light (3000K), Natural Light (4500K), and Cold Light (6000K).

5.3 Using the Magnifying Glass

  • Position the magnifying glass over the object you wish to view.
  • Adjust the lamp arm to bring the lens to the optimal distance for clear magnification. For the 10X magnification lens (Type A), the ideal distance for the magnification effect is typically between 5 and 20 cm from the object.
  • Adjust the light brightness and color mode for the best visibility.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth, preferably a microfiber cloth, to gently wipe the lens. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with lens cleaning solution or water. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Cleaning the Lamp Body: Wipe the lamp body and arm with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the lamp in a clean, dry place to protect it from dust and damage.
