1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new UART2 H6C Electric Bike LCD Display. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and longevity of your device.
The UART2 H6C display is a colorful, waterproof LCD meter designed for electric bikes, featuring a USB charging port and compatibility with SM/Waterproof connection plugs. It provides essential riding data and control functions.
2. Compatibility
Important: This product operates using the UART2 communication protocol. It must be used with a controller that also supports the UART2 communication protocol. Incompatibility between the display and controller protocols will prevent proper operation.
To verify your controller's protocol, check the controller's appearance, its manual, or consult the seller of your controller or old display screen.

3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your LCD display:
- Break off the extension seat buckle and insert it from a low position.
- Adjust the angle and tighten the screws.
- Align the position and clamp the meter head in place.
- Tighten the gauge head clockwise and tighten firmly to the end.
- Wrap the wire down the brake line.
- Install the transmitter and magnet on the front fork (if applicable for speed sensing).

3.1 Wiring Diagram
Ensure correct connection of the wires as per the diagram below. The display supports both SM and Waterproof connection plugs.

4.3 USB Charging
The display features a USB charging port (5V/500mA) for convenient charging of small electronic devices.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your display:
- Cleaning: Wipe the display screen with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the screen or casing.
- Water Resistance: The display is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance, meaning it is protected against immersion in water up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. However, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the display in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.

6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your display.
6.1 Error Code E10
If the instrument interface displays "E10" after connecting:
- Protocol Mismatch: The communication protocol used by the display and your e-bike's controller may not match. This display requires a UART2 protocol controller.
- Component Malfunction: One of the vehicle's components (booster, rotary knob, or motor) might be malfunctioning or have a short circuit. This can prevent the controller from operating correctly and lead to communication failure with the display.
6.2 General Troubleshooting Tips
- Check Connections: Ensure all cables are securely connected and free from damage.
- Power Supply: Verify that the e-bike battery is adequately charged and providing power to the display.
- Controller Protocol: If you are unsure about your controller's protocol, refer to its manual or contact the manufacturer/seller.
