3.1 Powering the Device

The weather station host can be powered in two ways:

  1. DC Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the weather station and plug it into a suitable AC 220V outlet. This allows for continuous operation and backlight functionality. The backlight has 4 adjustable brightness levels (High-Medium-Low-Off) when powered by the adapter.
  2. Battery Power: For portable use or as a backup, insert 3 AAA batteries into the host unit (batteries not included). When battery-powered, the backlight will only illuminate for 5 seconds to conserve power (power saving mode).

The wireless transmitter requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).

3.2 Wireless Sensor Placement

Place the wireless transmitter (outdoor sensor) in a location that provides accurate outdoor temperature and humidity readings, away from direct sunlight and rain. Ensure it is within the 150-meter transmission range of the main unit. The weather station supports up to 3 wireless sensors (additional sensors sold separately).
