Setup
Follow these steps to set up your MELONARE ARMX8 mixer:
- Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the mixer's power input and then to a suitable power outlet.
- Input Connections:
- Connect microphones to the MIC/LINE inputs using XLR cables.
- Connect line-level instruments (keyboards, guitars with preamps) or other audio devices to the MIC/LINE inputs using 1/4" LINE cables.
- Connect devices with RCA outputs (e.g., CD players) to the stereo RCA input jacks.
- Output Connections:
- Connect your main speakers or amplifier to the MAIN OUTPUT (XLR or 1/4" TRS) jacks.
- Connect headphones to the PHONES jack for monitoring.
- If using an external effects processor, connect its input to the FX SEND jack and its output back to an available input channel on the mixer.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
After all connections are made, turn on the mixer using the power switch. Always power on the mixer before connecting to amplifiers or powered speakers, and power off the mixer after turning off amplifiers/speakers to prevent sudden loud noises.
Adjusting Input Gain and Level
- Use the GAIN knob for each channel to adjust the input sensitivity. Set it so that the PEAK LED flashes only occasionally during the loudest parts of the signal.
- Use the CHANNEL LEVEL KNOB to adjust the volume of each individual channel in the mix.
- The MAIN LEVEL FADER controls the overall output volume of the mixer.
- The PHONE LEVEL KNOB adjusts the volume for the headphone output.
Using the 3-Band EQ
Each channel features a 3-band equalizer to fine-tune the sound:
- HI Shelving: Adjusts high frequencies (10KHz +/-15dB).
- MID Range: Adjusts mid frequencies (2.5KHz +/-15dB).
- LO Shelving: Adjusts low frequencies (80Hz +/-15dB).

Activating +48V Phantom Power
The ARMX8 provides +48V phantom power, essential for condenser microphones. Locate the +48V PHANTOM POWER button and press it to activate. Ensure condenser microphones are connected before activating phantom power to prevent damage to other equipment.

Bluetooth Streaming
The ARMX8 allows wireless music streaming from your iPad or smartphone:
- Press the MODE button on the digital audio player section to select the Bluetooth mode. The display will show "BLUE" and flash.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone), search for available Bluetooth devices and select "MELONARE ARMX8".
- Once connected successfully, the "BLUE" indicator on the mixer's screen will stop flashing.
NOTE: The USB and Bluetooth functions CANNOT be used simultaneously.
USB Streaming & Recording
The mixer supports USB/flash/MP3 reader functionality for streaming and recording:
- Insert a USB stick or connect a USB cable from your computer to the mixer's USB port.
- For USB Streaming:
- Tap the PREV/V- or NEXT/V+ button to switch between songs.
- Tap the P/P button to pause or play the selected song.
- Long press the PREV/V- or NEXT/V+ button to decrease or increase the volume.
- Twist the MP3 knob for overall volume adjustment of the streaming music.
- For USB Recording:
- Press the MODE button and select the "rEC" recording mode.
- Short press the P/P button to start recording.
- Long press the P/P button to finish recording and save the file.
NOTE: The USB and Bluetooth functions CANNOT be used simultaneously.
