3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the side of the total station.
  2. Insert a charged battery, ensuring correct orientation.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. To charge a battery, connect it to the battery charger using the charger line. Plug the charger into a suitable power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

3.2. Mounting the Total Station

  • **Three Prisms Mode**: For measuring distances up to 6000m (19,685ft.) under good conditions using three prisms.
