3. Product Overview

5. Setup Guide
5.1 Initial Power On
- Charge the Camera: Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable and a standard USB power adapter (not included). The power indicator light will show charging status.
- Power On: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for approximately 3 seconds to turn on the camera. The operation indicator light will illuminate.
5.2 Inserting a TF (Micro SD) Card
To save video recordings, a TF card is required (not included).
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera (refer to Figure 3).
- Gently insert the TF card into the slot until it clicks into place.
- Important: Format the TF card using the camera's app or a computer before its first use to ensure proper functionality.
5.3 Connecting to WiFi (App Configuration)
For remote viewing and advanced features, connect the camera to your home's 2.4GHz WiFi network via the dedicated mobile application.
- Download the App: Refer to the included English manual for the specific app name and QR code to download it from your device's app store (Android/iOS).
- Add Camera: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
- Connect to Camera Hotspot: Your camera will broadcast its own WiFi hotspot. Go to your phone's WLAN settings, find and connect to the camera's WiFi hotspot (usually starts with 'A9' or similar).
- Configure Home WiFi: Within the app, navigate to 'App Settings' or 'WiFi Config'. Select your home's 2.4GHz WiFi network and enter the password.
- Confirm Connection: The camera's operation indicator light will change to indicate a successful connection to your home WiFi. You can now view the live feed remotely through the app.
5.4 No WiFi Mode (Local Recording)
The camera can also function without a WiFi connection, recording directly to the TF card.
- Ensure a formatted TF card is inserted.
- Power on the camera. It will automatically begin recording and save video files to the TF card.
- To access recordings, you will need to remove the TF card and view it on a computer, or connect the camera to a computer via USB.
6. Operation
6.1 Live Video Viewing
Once connected to WiFi and configured with the app, open the app on your smartphone or computer to watch the live video feed from your A9 Mini Camera.
6.2 Recording
The camera supports continuous recording to the TF card. You can also initiate or stop recordings manually via the mobile app when connected to WiFi.
6.3 Night Vision
The A9 Mini Camera is equipped with hidden infrared lights for night vision, allowing it to capture clear video even in low-light or dark conditions.

6.4 Mobile Detection & Remote Alarm
The camera features mobile detection. When motion is detected, it can trigger a remote alarm notification to your connected smartphone, alerting you to activity in the monitored area.

6.5 Magnetic Adsorption & Flexible Placement
The camera has a built-in magnet, allowing it to easily attach to any iron surface. The included 360° rotating base provides additional flexibility for adjusting the recording angle.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the camera regularly, even if not in use, to prevent deep discharge.
- Firmware Updates: Check the mobile application periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
8. Troubleshooting
- Camera won't turn on:
- Ensure the camera is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.
- Cannot connect to WiFi:
- Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz networks.
- Check that the WiFi password entered in the app is correct.
- Make sure the camera is within range of your WiFi router.
- Restart both the camera and your router.
- No recording to TF card:
- Ensure a TF card is properly inserted.
- Format the TF card using the app or a computer.
- Check if the TF card is full; if so, back up data and format it, or replace it.
- Verify the recording settings in the app.
- App not found or not working:
- Refer to the included English manual for the correct app name and download instructions. Ensure your smartphone's operating system (Android/iOS) is compatible with the app.
- Poor video quality:
- Ensure the camera lens is clean.
- Check your internet connection speed if viewing remotely.
- Adjust video resolution settings in the app if available.
9. User Tips
- App Name: While the product description indicates 'Other' for the app name, please refer to the specific app name and QR code provided in the physical English manual included with your camera for correct installation.
- Software: The necessary software for camera configuration and viewing is typically the mobile application. Ensure you download the official app as instructed in the manual.
- Placement: Utilize the magnetic base and 360° rotating stand for optimal camera positioning, allowing you to capture the desired viewing angle.
