5. Setup
Follow these steps to safely connect your EAFC Smart Battery Charger to your vehicle's battery:
- Connect Battery Clamps:
Connect the RED (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
Connect the BLACK (-) clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the battery. - Connect to Power Source:
Plug the charger's power cord into a standard 100-240V AC power outlet. - Start Charging:
The charger will automatically detect the battery voltage (12V or 24V) and begin the charging process. The large LED display will show the charging status.
Important: Always ensure the charger is disconnected from the AC power source before connecting or disconnecting the battery clamps. When disconnecting, first unplug the charger from the wall, then remove the negative (black) clamp, followed by the positive (red) clamp.
6. Operating Instructions
The EAFC Smart Battery Charger offers various modes and intelligent functions for optimal battery care.
Charging Modes:
- The charger automatically identifies 12V or 24V batteries.
- Current Regulation (25A model): Supports automatic 5A, 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A charging options. Use the touch buttons on the display to cycle through available current settings.
- Nine-Stage Charging: The charger employs a sophisticated nine-stage charging process for efficient and complete battery charging, including battery detection, de-sulfation, soft start, bulk charge, absorption, analysis, recondition, float, and maintenance.

Special Functions:
- Pulse Repair Function: This function helps to maintain or activate weak, old, and idle batteries by using pulse technology.
- Temperature Compensation: The microcomputer automatically recognizes the ambient temperature and adjusts the charging voltage accordingly. If the temperature is above 28℃, it enters summer mode. If below 10℃, it enters winter mode. This prolongs battery service life.
- Intelligent Chip Memory Mode: After charging, the default state mode of the last power-off is used, which is intelligent and easy to use. (Note: Repair mode does not have memory function).
- Start Car Function (25A model, for 12V batteries only): Long press the 'A' button to enter a 200-second charging time. After hearing a buzzer sound, you can attempt to start the car.
Display and Controls:

- The display shows current, voltage, and temperature rotation.
- Toggle key for switching modes.
- Indicators for reverse connection/abnormality, winter/summer mode, repair, recharging, and charging complete.
- Power display and display status.
- Error-Proof Trigger/Touch Protection: After entering the charging state for about 25 seconds, the touch button locks itself and cannot be triggered. To switch the mode, you need to remove any clip or disconnect the mains power to unlock it.
- Press and hold the mode key for 5 seconds to turn on or off the buzzer.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Keep the charger and its cables clean and free from dirt, dust, and moisture. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect the charging cables and clamps for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion. Replace if necessary.
- Ventilation: Ensure the cooling fan vents are not obstructed to allow for proper airflow and prevent overheating.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your EAFC Smart Battery Charger, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Charger not turning on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a live AC outlet. Check for power outages or tripped circuit breakers.
- Battery not charging: Verify that the battery clamps are correctly connected to the battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative). Ensure the battery is not severely damaged or completely dead (below 5.0V start voltage).
- Error message on display: Refer to the display indicators for specific error codes (e.g., reverse connection, abnormality). Disconnect and reconnect the charger to reset.
- Charger gets hot: Some heat during charging is normal. Ensure the cooling fan is operating and its vents are clear. If overheating persists, disconnect the charger and contact support.
- Touch buttons unresponsive: If the buttons lock after 25 seconds of charging, disconnect the battery clamps or unplug the charger from the mains power to reset the protection.

9. User Tips
- For optimal battery health, consider using the pulse repair function periodically, especially for older or less frequently used batteries.
- Always check the battery type before selecting a specific charging mode (if applicable) to ensure compatibility.
- When storing your vehicle for extended periods, use the charger's maintenance or trickle charge mode to keep the battery topped up and prevent self-discharge.
- Keep the battery terminals clean to ensure good electrical contact with the charger clamps.
