Connect the red wire to the positive terminal of the battery, the black wire to the negative terminal, and the yellow wire to the ACC ignition switch. If a relay is included, follow the relay wiring instructions provided in the full user manual.

General Wiring Steps:

  1. Connect the Red wire from the tracker's harness to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  2. Connect the Black wire from the tracker's harness to the negative terminal (ground) of the vehicle's battery.
  3. Connect the Yellow wire (ACC) to the vehicle's ignition switch. This allows the tracker to detect ignition status.
  4. If your model includes a relay (e.g., GT02D 01), refer to the detailed wiring diagram in the provided user manual for proper relay connection to enable remote control features.

Important: Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits. Incorrect wiring can damage the device or vehicle electrical system. If unsure, consult a professional.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Real-time Location Tracking

The TK110 GT02 tracker supports real-time location tracking via SMS or GPRS.

  • SMS Tracking: Send a specific SMS command to the tracker's phone number. The tracker will reply with a Google Maps link showing its current location.
  • GPRS Tracking: For continuous real-time tracking, the device can send data to a tracking platform via GPRS (Class 12, TCP/IP). This allows for monitoring location, speed, and other data over time intervals (10-18000 seconds).

The user manual mentions both a charged platform and a free "orange platform". For details on accessing and using these platforms, please contact customer service after your purchase.

5.2 Alarm Features

The tracker is equipped with multiple alarm functions to enhance vehicle security and monitoring:

  • Overspeed Alarm: Notifies you if the vehicle exceeds a predefined speed limit.
  • Disassemble Alarm: Triggers an alert if the tracker is tampered with or removed from its installation location.
  • Movement Alarm: Alerts you if the vehicle moves outside a set perimeter or without authorization.
  • ACC Ignition & Flame Out Alarm: Provides notifications when the vehicle's ignition is turned on or off.

Specific SMS commands for setting up and managing these alarms are detailed in the full user manual.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Any liquid can corrode electronic circuits.
  • Do not store the device in extreme temperatures. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and warp or melt plastic parts.
  • Do not attempt to open the device. Unauthorized modification may damage the unit and will void the warranty.
  • Clean the device with a dry cloth. Do not use chemicals or detergents.
  • For models with an internal battery, ensure regular charging if the vehicle is not in use for extended periods to maintain battery health.

7. Troubleshooting

If your device is not functioning as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  1. Device cannot power on:
    • Check if the battery is low or completely discharged. Recharge the battery for approximately 8-10 hours.
    • Ensure the power connections are secure and providing the correct voltage (DC 9-24V).
  2. Cannot call the device or device does not recognize the SIM card:
    • Reinstall the SIM card, ensuring it is correctly seated in the slot.
    • Try using a different SIM card. Ensure the SIM card supports a 2G GSM network.
  3. Device does not reply with tracking position after a call:
    • Verify that the SIM card in the device has the caller ID function enabled.
    • Ensure the SIM card has sufficient credit or data balance for SMS and GPRS communication.
  4. Device does not reply to SMS commands:
    • Check the format of the SMS command sent. Ensure there are no invisible symbols (e.g., space key, enter key) at the end of the command.
    • Confirm the SIM card has SMS capabilities.
  5. Cannot get GPS signal, tracking, or use GPS:
    • Move the device to an outdoor location with a clear view of the sky. GPS signals are often unavailable indoors.
    • Ensure the front of the device is facing the sky for optimal signal reception.
  6. IMEI number discrepancy:
    • If the IMEI number obtained via SMS differs from the one printed on the product, send the command #SETIMEI#123456#IMEI NO.# to the tracker's SIM card, replacing "IMEI NO." with the number printed on the device.

If problems persist, please provide a detailed description of the issue to customer support for further assistance.

8. User Tips

  • Always ensure the SIM card has an active plan with data, SMS, and call functions for full tracker functionality.
  • For optimal GPS performance, install the tracker in a location with minimal obstruction to the sky.
  • Regularly check the device's LED indicators for status updates (e.g., power, GSM signal, GPS signal).
  • Keep your tracking platform login credentials secure.
