Thank you for choosing the Medcursor Wireless Electric Hand Massager. This manual provides important information for the safe and effective use of your device. Please read it thoroughly before use and keep it for future reference. This hand massager is designed to provide relief from hand, finger, and palm pain, arthritis, numbness, and muscle relaxation through air compression, heat therapy, and acupoint massage.

Important Safeguards & Precautions

Precautions

  1. Wash your hands before each use in order to keep the massager clean.
  2. Make sure the USB charging cable fits entirely into the USB port.
  3. Never charge the device with a USB plug or charging cable that exceeds 5V 2A as it could cause fire. This device should only be used with the provided USB cable.
  4. Do not let the device charge overnight or throughout the day.
  5. Avoid placing any full glasses or liquid bottles next to the device as they could spill and damage the device.
  6. If the adapter or USB cable is damaged, do not charge the unit.
  7. Do not leave the product unattended when plugged in. Unplug it from the outlet when not in use.
  8. Do not operate after taking pain killers, sedatives or alcohol.
  9. Individuals with pacemakers should not use this product. Always consult a doctor before using it.
  10. Do not carry this product by its supply cord or use the cord as a handle.
  11. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
  12. Do not use with wet hands or in humid places. Wetness and humidity can cause electric shock or mechanical malfunctioning.
  13. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit, charging cord or screen. (doing so voids the warranty).
  14. Avoid wearing jewelry when using the hand massager and use caution if you have long nails or manicures.
  15. If you have a medical condition like diabetes, inflammation, suffer from blood clots, recently had surgery and/or are pregnant, suffering from heart disease or osteoporosis, we recommend you consult your doctor before using the massager.
  16. Never use the device more than 30 minutes in a row.
  17. Never cover the massager while using it, this may result in overheating of the unit.
  18. Never use the hand massager in a wet/humid room, in high temperature or next to corrosive gas.
  19. Don't forget to turn off the device once you finish the massage in order to protect the battery life.
  20. Do not worry about the dimples on the hand after using the hand massager. They will disappear within 30 minutes.

WARNING

Do not use the device to supplement or replace any medical treatment that you are currently receiving. Please consult your physician before use if you are experiencing any unexplained pain, already receiving medical treatment for circulation or vascular issues, or using at-home medical equipment.

Please contact your physician before using the MD-HM02 Hand Massager if you have physical health concerns or have any of the following conditions:

  • You are pregnant.
  • You have a pacemaker or other medical implant.
  • You are suffering from heart or vascular disease.
  • You have irregular blood pressure or are receiving treatment to normalize your blood pressure.
  • You are suffering from osteoporosis.
  • You are suffering from cancer.
  • You have recently undergone surgery.
  • You have concerns regarding areas of your health.

Never leave the appliance unattended, especially if children are present. We recommend you limit the use of the massager to 15-minute sessions and for no more than an hour (30 minutes) consecutively. Never use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas of skin or open wounds. This product should NEVER be used by an individual suffering from any physical ailment that limits the user's mobility. This product should NEVER be used on persons who have sensory deficiencies affecting their hands and appendages.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS (Charging)

  • BEFORE you charge, ALWAYS confirm that the charger/plug settings exactly match the type (chemistry), specification, and configuration of the battery to be charged. DO NOT exceed the maximum manufacturer recommended charge rate which is 5V, 2A.
  • ALWAYS charge batteries in a well-ventilated area.
  • Charge the battery in a safe area away from flammable materials. Monitor the charging process and never leave batteries unattended while charging. Do not allow small children to charge the hand massager.
  • DO NOT disassemble, crush, short circuit, or expose the battery to flame or other source of ignition.
  • DO NOT leave the hand massager unattended while charging, discharging, or anytime the charger is ON with a battery connected. If there are any signs of a malfunction, unplug the power source and/or stop the charging process immediately.
  • ALWAYS unplug the charger from the wall outlet and disconnect the cable when not in use.
  • If the hand massager gets hot to the touch during the charging process (temperature greater than 110°F / 43°C), immediately disconnect the battery from the charger and discontinue charging.
  • DO NOT expose the unit to water or moisture.

WARNING: RISK OF INJURY!

We strongly recommend that people who have very sensitive hands use the lowest intensity. For first-time use, please start from the lowest level.

Power ButtonLong press for 3 seconds to turn the machine on or off; the blue light will turn on. Short press this button to pause or re-start the machine. The blue indicator flashes when the machine is paused.
Mode Button (M)The device offers 6 modes for selection. Press the button to choose accordingly.
Heat Button (≈≈≈)Press the heat button to choose the heating level: 1, 2, or Off. When the Arabic numeral indicator light on the Heat button goes off, it means the heating function is turned off.
Timer Button (⌛)Short press the timer button to choose the massage duration from 10 mins, 15 mins, or 20 mins. The default timer is set to 10 mins. The device will automatically power off when the timer runs out.
Intensity Button (☰)There are 6 intensity levels for this hand massager: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Press the intensity button to choose the intensity level.

Setup: Before First Use

  1. After unpacking the hand massager, please check the integrity of the device and accessories for any damages.
  2. Before first use, charge the hand massager until the blue indicator light stays on continuously (see the section below on Charging Instructions).
  3. Place the device on a flat, level surface.
  4. Insert one hand into the cloth-lined chamber.

NOTE: Please be sure to remove all sharp jewelry and start from the lowest level.

Operating Instructions

Place your hand with your palm facing down into the hand massager before turning the device on. You will notice that your palm should fit perfectly inside. If you don't feel comfortable, you may adjust your hand until you find the perfect spot.

Massage Modes

The device offers 6 distinct massage modes. Press the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through them. Each mode provides a different sequence of air compression and acupressure. For initial use, it is recommended to start with Mode 1 or 2.

Heat Levels

The massager features 2 heat levels. Press the '≈≈≈' (Heat) button to select between Level 1 (104-110.6℉), Level 2 (116-122°F), or turn the heat off. The indicator light for the selected level will illuminate. When the light goes off, the heating function is turned off.

Timer Settings

You can set the massage duration using the '⌛' (Timer) button. Options include 10, 15, or 20 minutes. The default setting is 10 minutes. The device will automatically power off once the timer concludes.

Intensity Levels

There are 6 intensity levels available. Use the '☰' (Intensity) button to adjust the strength of the massage. Levels range from 1 (lowest) to 6 (highest). For initial use, it is recommended to start with Intensity Level 1.

The product features a memory function. It will retain the current working mode state (intensity level and timer setting) after startup and will default to it the next time it is turned on.

Charging Instructions

  1. The device can be used while charging. Please note that only the air pressure massage function is available during charging, while the heating function cannot be used.
  2. Insert the charging plug into the product's charging port.
  3. During charging, the indicator light flashes. The indicator light stays on after fully charged.
  4. When the battery level is below 15%, the indicator turns red. If the battery level is too low, the product will stop working and automatically shut down.

Note: It is normal for the main unit and power adapter to generate slight heat during charging.

Charging Complete:

After charging is complete, please unplug the power source.

Care & Maintenance

  1. Always unplug the power adapter and allow the device to cool down after each use or before cleaning.
  2. To clean the device, please wipe with a soft and damp cloth using non-abrasive cleaners. Do not wash or immerse it in water.
  3. Please always store the device in a cool and dry place when not in use.
  4. Keep the device away from humidity, heat, and/or corrosive gas.

Troubleshooting

I hear a faint sound while using the massager.The air pump is working.The product works normally and no other operation is required.
I have indentations on my hand after the massage.Comes from the airbags cover.This is normal. The impression will disappear after 30 minutes.
The airbags are not inflating.Battery is low.Recharge the unit. If the problem persists, please contact us at support@medcursor.com.
I cannot see the power indicator flashing while charging OR the unit turns on for a few seconds, then all the lights flash, and the unit powers down.The unit is not charging properly because the connection is not made properly between the USB port and USB cable OR the plug is higher than 5V 2A.The USB cable needs to fit entirely into the USB port OR the plug must not exceed 5V 2A.
The unit has stopped charging.The unit is not receiving the correct amount of voltage.Make sure the charger you used is 5V 2A and the charger (plug or laptop) must not exceed 5V.
Air pump not working on the wrist area.Wrong program selected OR air pump is defective.Try the wrist program and if still does not work contact us at support@medcursor.com.
The heat function is not working.The heating function won't work while the unit is charging. The product is not fully charged so it may take a while to achieve the highest temperature.Wait at least 3 min before feeling the heat.

User Tips

  • For first-time users or those with sensitive hands, always begin with the lowest intensity setting (Level 1) and Mode 1 or 2.
  • The device can be used while plugged in, even if the battery is low, ensuring continuous use.
  • To adjust the intensity of the acupressure, position your fingers next to the internal beads for a gentler therapy, or directly over the beads for a stronger effect.
  • While the massager secures your hand at the wrist, its primary massage action is focused on the palm and fingers through air compression and acupressure. It is not designed as a dedicated wrist massager.
