4. Safety Information
WARNING: Shock Hazard
- Installation must be performed with care due to high battery voltage in series.
- All wiring must be performed by qualified personnel.
- It's very important for system safety and efficient operation to use appropriate cable for AC input connection. To reduce risk of injury, please use the proper recommended cable size as specified in the AC Input/Output Connection section.
CAUTION:
- Do not place anything between the flat part of the inverter terminal; otherwise, overheating may occur.
- Do not apply anti-oxidant substance on the terminals before terminals are connected tightly.
- Before making the final DC connection or closing DC breaker/disconnector, be sure positive (+) must be connected to positive (+) and negative (-) must be connected to negative (-).
- Before connecting to AC input power source, please install a separate AC breaker between the inverter and AC input power source. This will ensure the inverter can be securely disconnected during maintenance and fully protected from overcurrent of AC input. The recommended specification for the AC breaker is 50A.
- There are two terminal blocks with "IN" and "OUT" markings. Please do NOT mis-connect input and output connectors.
- The inverter is suitable for mounting on concrete or other non-combustible surfaces ONLY.
5. Setup and Installation
5.1. Preparation
Before connecting any wirings, please take off the bottom cover by removing two screws as shown in the diagram below.

Figure 2: Removing the bottom cover.
5.2. Mounting the Unit
Consider the following points before selecting where to install the inverter:
- Do not mount the inverter on flammable construction materials.
- Mount on a solid surface.
- Install this inverter at eye level to allow the LCD display to be read at all times.
- The ambient temperature should be between 0°C and 55°C to ensure optimal operation.
- The recommended installation position is to be adhered to the wall vertically.
- Ensure sufficient heat dissipation and enough space for removing wires as shown in the diagram below.

Figure 3: Recommended mounting clearances.
5.3. Wiring Guide
Watch the official wiring guide video for a visual demonstration of the installation process:
Video 1: PowMr All-in-one Solar Inverter Wiring Guide.
5.3.1. Battery Connection
For 48V models, connect the battery positive and negative terminals as shown in the diagram. Ensure correct polarity.

Figure 4: Battery Connection for 48V Model.
5.3.2. Lithium Battery Communication and Settings
If using a lithium battery, ensure it is configured for the inverter. Connect the BMS communication cable between the battery and the inverter's RS485 port. The communication cable is typically included in the package. The RS485 port pin assignment is crucial for proper communication.

Figure 6: RS485 Port Pin Assignment.
5.3.3. AC Input/Output Connection
Connect the AC mains live, neutral, and ground wires to the AC INPUT terminals. Then, connect the primary AC output and the secondary AC output to their respective terminals. Refer to the diagram for correct wiring.

Figure 7: AC Input/Output Wiring Diagram.
Use appropriate cable sizes for AC input connection to ensure system safety and efficient operation. Recommended cable sizes:
| Model | Gauge | Torque Value |
|---|---|---|
| 6.2KVA | 8 AWG | 1.4~1.6Nm |
5.3.4. PV Input Connection
Connect the photovoltaic array positive and negative terminals to the designated solar input ports on the inverter. Ensure correct polarity.
5.4. Grounding
Ground the inverter body securely to prevent electrical hazards.
6. Operation
6.1. Initial Startup
- After all connections are made, press and hold the power button for more than three seconds to start the inverter. The power output will become ready.
- Turn on the inverter.
- Sequentially close the AC input, PV input, and AC output circuits.
- Connect the load to the primary output line, then to the secondary output line.
6.2. Lithium Battery Settings (Without Communication)
This section provides guidance for lithium battery applications where BMS communication is not utilized, to prevent BMS protection activation. Before adjusting settings, obtain your battery's BMS specifications:
- Max charging voltage
- Max charging current
- Discharging protection voltage
Follow these steps for setting:
- Set the battery type as "USE" (user-defined) in LCD program 5. If "User-Defined" is selected, battery charge voltage and low DC cut-off voltage can be set up in programs 26, 27, and 29.
- Set the C.V voltage as Max charging voltage of BMS - 0.5V. For program 26 (Bulk charging voltage), if self-defined is selected in program 5, the setting value must be greater than or equal to the value of program 27. The increment for each click is 0.1V. The default is 56.4V, with a setting range from 48.0V to 62.0V.
If communication between the inverter and battery is successful, the battery icon on the LCD display will light up.
7. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PowMr Solar Hybrid Inverter, regular maintenance is recommended:
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the inverter with a dry, soft cloth. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris.
- Connections: Regularly check all electrical connections (battery, AC, PV) for tightness and signs of corrosion. Tighten any loose connections.
- Environment: Ensure the installation environment remains within the specified operating temperature and humidity ranges. Keep the area around the inverter clear to allow for proper airflow.
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates to improve performance or address known issues.
8. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter. For more complex problems, please contact customer support.
- No Power Output: Check battery connections, AC input, and PV input. Ensure all breakers are on and the inverter is powered up. Verify battery voltage is within operating range.
- Inverter Overheating: Check for obstructions around the ventilation openings. Ensure the ambient temperature is within the specified range and that mounting clearances are maintained. Reduce load if necessary.
- Fault Indicator On: Refer to the LCD display for specific error codes. Consult the full product manual (if available) for detailed explanations of fault codes and corresponding troubleshooting steps.
- Battery Not Charging: Verify PV array connections and voltage. Check AC input if charging from utility. Ensure battery settings are correctly configured, especially for lithium batteries without BMS communication.
