5. Setup Guide
5.1. Physical Installation
To ensure stable wireless communication, please avoid installing the devices on metal surfaces.
Wi-Fi Gateway:
Place or hang the Wi-Fi Gateway in an appropriate position. The gateway is powered via a Type-C plug.

433MHz Sensors:
Use the provided 3M adhesive to stick the sensor to a wall, or use a lanyard to hang the sensor in an appropriate position. Ensure the surface of the attachment location is clean and dry. The sensors are powered by 2x AAA batteries (not included).

5.2. App Installation (Smart Life App)
- Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the product packaging to download and install the "Smart Life" app on your smartphone.
- Alternatively, Android phone users can search for "Smart Life" in Google Play, and iPhone users can search for "Smart Life" in the App Store.

5.3. Device Pairing
Pairing the Wi-Fi Gateway:
- Ensure Bluetooth is turned on on your mobile phone.
- Open the "Smart Life" App, select "Add device" and enter the "Add device" panel.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi/Channel button on the back of the gateway for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi icon on the gateway display flashes.
- The App will automatically discover the Wi-Fi gateway. Click to add it.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your Wi-Fi information (only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi).
- Once pairing is complete, the Wi-Fi gateway will be added to the App's device list. You can rename the gateway in the app.
Pairing the 433MHz Sensors:

6. Operation Guide
6.1. Display Overview (Wi-Fi Gateway)

The gateway's 4.3-inch screen displays real-time information including date, time, current weather, Wi-Fi signal, and temperature/humidity readings from up to 10 connected 433MHz sensors, along with their battery levels.
6.2. App Remote Control
Monitor and control your devices from anywhere using the Smart Life app. The gateway connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, and sensors transfer data to the gateway via wireless 433MHz within 100m (open area).

6.3. Multiple Sensor Display
The gateway can display readings from multiple sensors simultaneously, allowing you to monitor temperature and humidity around your home at any time. The transmission range is up to 115m (without obstacles).

6.4. Weather Station Function
The gateway provides real-time updates of weather conditions, including 7 types of weather changes, enhancing its utility beyond just temperature and humidity monitoring.

6.5. Temperature & Humidity Alarm
You can preset the desired temperature and humidity ranges in the Smart Life app. If the temperature or humidity reaches outside the set range, you will receive an alarm message on your mobile phone. The alarm sensitivity is ±0.3°C for temperature and ±3%RH for humidity.

6.6. Data Statistics and Export
The Smart Life app supports historical data export for up to 1 year. You can view temperature and humidity trends over day, month, or year, and export this data for analysis.

6.7. Smart Scene Automation
The temperature and humidity readings from the sensors can be set as triggers for smart scenes within the Tuya ecosystem. For example, you can configure a scene to automatically turn on a humidifier when the humidity drops below a certain percentage, helping to maintain a comfortable and healthy environment.

6.8. Voice Control Compatibility
The Smart Thermohygrometer Kit is compatible with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Home. You can get real-time temperature and humidity information by simply using voice commands.

6.9. Temperature Unit Switch (°C/°F)
You can switch the temperature display unit between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) directly on the gateway using the physical button on the back, or through the settings in the Smart Life app.
6.10. Manual Calibration
Both the Wi-Fi Gateway and the 433MHz sensors allow for manual calibration of temperature and humidity values within the Smart Life app settings to ensure accuracy.
7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning
Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
7.2. Battery Replacement (433MHz Sensors)
When the battery indicator on the gateway display or in the app shows low battery for a sensor, replace the 2x AAA batteries. To do this, slide off the back cover of the sensor, remove the old batteries, insert new ones with correct polarity, and reattach the cover.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Check Wi-Fi signal strength near the gateway. Restart the gateway and try pairing again.
- Sensors not reporting data: Check sensor batteries. Ensure sensors are within the 100m open area range of the gateway. Re-pair the sensors if necessary.
- Inaccurate readings: Use the manual calibration feature in the app settings to adjust temperature and humidity values.
- App notifications not received: Check app notification settings on your phone and within the Smart Life app. Ensure the alarm thresholds are correctly set.
9. User Tips
- Smart Home Integration: Leverage the Smart Life app's "Smart Scene" feature to automate other smart home devices based on temperature and humidity readings. For example, you can set up rules to turn on a smart fan if the temperature exceeds a certain limit, or activate a smart humidifier/dehumidifier to maintain optimal indoor climate.
- Optimal Placement: For the most accurate readings, place sensors away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat sources. Consider placing them in areas critical for comfort or preservation, such as a baby's room, a wine cellar, or a greenhouse.
- Data Analysis: Regularly export and review historical data to identify trends and make informed decisions about your home's climate control.
