2. Panel Introduction

Front Panel Controls:

• Display: Shows current mode, volume, and other parameters.

3. Setup Instructions

3. Audio Input Connection:

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Operation

1. Power On: Turn on the unit using the power switch on the rear panel.
2. Volume Adjustment: Use the VOLUME knob on the front panel to set the overall output level.
3. Gain Adjustment: Use the GAIN knob to adjust the input sensitivity to prevent clipping or ensure sufficient signal strength.
4. Bypass Function: Press the BYPASS button to toggle the equalizer effect on or off. When bypassed, the audio signal passes through without EQ processing.

4.2. Frequency Adjustment (31-Segment EQ)

The EQ31SUB features 31 individual frequency bands that can be adjusted to shape your audio. The LED spectrum display provides visual feedback on signal strength across these bands.

• Individual Frequency Control: Each of the 31 frequency bands (from 20Hz to 20KHz) can be adjusted independently. Refer to the front panel for specific frequency points.
• LED Spectrum Display: The dynamic LED lights indicate the signal strength for each frequency band.
  • Red Light: Critical state, indicating high signal levels that may lead to clipping.
  • Orange Light: Warning status, indicating signal levels approaching critical.
  • Green Light: Normal state, indicating optimal signal levels.
  • Blue Light: Stationary state, indicating no active signal or a very low signal level.

4.3. Wireless Connection (Bluetooth)

1. Press the 'MODE' button on the front panel until 'BT' (Bluetooth) mode is selected.
2. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "EQ31SUB" (or similar name).
3. Once paired, audio from your device will stream wirelessly to the equalizer.

4.4. USB Input

Connect a USB drive to the USB port on the front panel for lossless audio playback.

1. Insert a USB drive containing audio files into the USB port.
2. Press the 'MODE' button until 'USB' mode is selected.
3. Use the track navigation buttons (Play/Pause, Skip) to control playback.

4.5. Saving and Recalling Presets

The EQ31SUB allows you to save up to 10 custom EQ settings for quick recall.

1. To Save: Adjust the frequency bands to your desired settings. Press the 'SAVE' button. The display will prompt you to select a preset slot (1-10). Use the navigation buttons or volume knob to select a slot, then press 'SAVE' again to confirm.
2. To Recall: Press the 'RECALL' button. The display will show the current preset number. Use the navigation buttons or volume knob to select the desired preset (1-10), then press 'RECALL' again to load it.
