2. Panel Introduction

Front Panel Controls:

3. Setup Instructions

  3. Audio Input Connection:

    • For unbalanced audio sources (e.g., consumer audio equipment), use RCA cables to connect to the IN ports.
  4. Audio Output Connection:

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Operation

  1. Power On: Turn on the unit using the power switch on the rear panel.
  2. Volume Adjustment: Use the VOLUME knob on the front panel to set the overall output level.
  3. Gain Adjustment: Use the GAIN knob to adjust the input sensitivity to prevent clipping or ensure sufficient signal strength.
  4. Bypass Function: Press the BYPASS button to toggle the equalizer effect on or off. When bypassed, the audio signal passes through without EQ processing.

  1. Press the 'MODE' button on the front panel until 'BT' (Bluetooth) mode is selected.
  2. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "EQ31SUB" (or similar name).
  3. Once paired, audio from your device will stream wirelessly to the equalizer.

4.4. USB Input

Connect a USB drive to the USB port on the front panel for lossless audio playback.

  1. Insert a USB drive containing audio files into the USB port.
  2. Press the 'MODE' button until 'USB' mode is selected.

4.5. Saving and Recalling Presets

The EQ31SUB allows you to save up to 10 custom EQ settings for quick recall.

  1. To Save: Adjust the frequency bands to your desired settings. Press the 'SAVE' button. The display will prompt you to select a preset slot (1-10). Use the navigation buttons or volume knob to select a slot, then press 'SAVE' again to confirm.
  2. To Recall: Press the 'RECALL' button. The display will show the current preset number. Use the navigation buttons or volume knob to select the desired preset (1-10), then press 'RECALL' again to load it.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Do not block any ventilation openings.
