1. Introduction

The BMAX B5A Pro Mini PC is a compact and powerful computing solution designed for a wide range of applications, from multimedia entertainment to efficient professional tasks. Featuring an AMD Ryzen7 5825U processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 512GB NVMe SSD, it delivers exceptional performance in a small form factor. 2. Setup Guide

2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Connecting Peripherals

Before powering on your Mini PC, connect all necessary peripherals.

1. Connect Display: Use an HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), or Type-C cable to connect your monitor(s) to the corresponding ports on the Mini PC. The B5A Pro supports up to three displays simultaneously.
2. Connect Keyboard and Mouse: Plug your USB keyboard and mouse into the available USB ports (USB3.2x2 on the front, USB2.0x2 on the rear).
3. Connect Network (Optional): For a wired internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the rear. Alternatively, you can use the built-in Dual Band WiFi.
4. Connect Audio (Optional): If using wired headphones or speakers, plug them into the 3.5mm headset jack on the front.

2.3 Powering On

1. Connect the power adapter to the 'Power In' port on the rear of the Mini PC, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
2. Press the 'Power Button' located on the front of the Mini PC. The power indicator light will illuminate.
3. The system will boot up, and you will see the operating system on your connected display.

2.4 Initial Windows 11 Setup

Upon first boot, you will be guided through the Windows 11 setup process. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your region, language, network, user account, and other settings.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Basic Operation

• Power On: Press the power button.
• Power Off: Click 'Start' > 'Power' > 'Shut down' in Windows 11. Alternatively, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to force a shutdown (not recommended for regular use).
• Restart: Click 'Start' > 'Power' > 'Restart' in Windows 11.

The BMAX B5A Pro supports high-resolution displays up to 4K at 60Hz and Dynamic HDR. You can connect multiple monitors for an extended desktop experience.

• Triple Display Output: Utilize the DP, HDMI, and Type-C ports simultaneously to connect up to three independent displays.
• Adjusting Display Settings: In Windows 11, right-click on the desktop and select 'Display settings' to configure resolution, orientation, and multiple display modes (extend, duplicate, second screen only).

3.3 Wireless Connectivity

The Mini PC features integrated Dual Band WiFi (2.4GHz/5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0 for seamless wireless connections.

• WiFi: Connect to your wireless network via the Windows 11 network settings.
• Bluetooth: Pair Bluetooth devices like headphones, keyboards, or mice through the Windows 11 Bluetooth & devices settings.

3.4 Dual System Support

The B5A Pro is designed to support dual operating systems, including Windows 11 and Linux (Ubuntu). This allows users flexibility in their computing environment.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cooling System

The BMAX B5A Pro features a 'Space Capsule Cooling System' designed for efficient heat dissipation and sustained performance. This system includes an enlarged double copper heat pipe, a giant turbo smart fan, and a top cover cooling design.

To ensure optimal cooling performance, keep the ventilation openings clear of obstructions and regularly clean any dust accumulation.

4.2 System Recovery

The Mini PC includes a 'Smart Recovery' feature to restore Windows to its factory settings. This can be useful for resolving system issues or preparing the device for a new user.

To access Smart Recovery:

1. Power on the Mini PC.

3. Follow the on-screen prompts to perform a 'Factory Reset' or 'Exit' to continue to Windows.

4.3 Storage and Memory Expansion

• 2.5" Hard Drive Bay: An internal 2.5-inch notebook hard drive bay is available for additional storage (HDD/SSD).

• No Display: Verify that the monitor is powered on and correctly connected to the Mini PC via HDMI, DP, or Type-C. Try a different cable or monitor if possible. Ensure the correct input source is selected on your monitor.
• No Internet Connection: For wired connections, check the Ethernet cable and router. For WiFi, ensure the WiFi adapter is enabled in Windows settings and you are connected to the correct network with the correct password.
• System Slowdown: Check for excessive background processes in Task Manager. Ensure the cooling system is not obstructed. Consider running a disk cleanup or antivirus scan.
• Peripheral Not Working: Try connecting the peripheral to a different USB port. Ensure drivers are up to date.
