  1. Learning a Transmitter's Code:
    • Press the "LEARN1" (for Channel 1) or "LEARN2" (for Channel 2) button on the receiver board for approximately 1 second. The "learn_led" light on the board will illuminate.
    • While the "learn_led" is lit, press the desired button on your remote control transmitter.
    • Continue pressing the transmitter button until the "learn_led" flashes and then goes out. This indicates that the transmitter's code has been successfully stored.
    • Repeat these steps for any other transmitters you wish to program.
  2. Erasing All Transmitter Codes:
    • Press and hold either the "LEARN1" or "LEARN2" button on the receiver board.
    • Keep holding the button until the "learn_led" light illuminates and then goes out. This action will erase all previously stored transmitter codes from the receiver.

Maintenance

  • Keep the receiver clean and free from dust and moisture.
  • Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
  • Ensure the antenna is unobstructed for optimal performance.
  • Do not attempt to open the receiver casing unless necessary for wiring or programming, and always disconnect power first.

Troubleshooting

  • Receiver not responding to remote:
    • Check if the receiver is powered correctly (LEDs on the board should be lit).
    • Ensure the remote control battery is not depleted.
    • Verify that the remote control has been correctly programmed to the receiver. Try re-programming the remote.
    • If multiple remotes are not working, try erasing all codes and re-programming them.
  • Poor reception range:
    • Ensure the receiver's antenna is fully extended and not obstructed by metal objects or walls.
    • Relocate the receiver to a position with better line-of-sight to where the remote will be used.
  • Device not activating/deactivating:
    • Check the wiring connections between the receiver's relay outputs (CH1, CH2) and your device's control inputs.
    • Ensure your device (motor, light, etc.) is functioning correctly independently of the receiver.

User Tips

  • For optimal performance, ensure the receiver is installed in a location protected from direct weather exposure.
  • When programming, keep the remote control close to the receiver to ensure a strong signal during the learning process.
  • If you are replacing an old receiver, make sure to clear all old codes from the new receiver before programming your existing remotes.
