Setup and Installation

Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
- Power On: Press the Power button on the control panel to turn on the unit.
- Add Food Waste: Open the lid and place food waste into the processing chamber. Do not overfill; the capacity is 4 liters.
- Close Lid: Securely close the lid before starting operation.

Disposing of Food Waste

- Suitable waste includes most fruit and vegetable scraps, small meat scraps, and soft food leftovers.
- Avoid large bones, fibrous materials (e.g., corn husks, artichokes), hard shells (e.g., coconut), cooking oil/grease, plastic, metal, glass, or paper.
- For best results, cut larger food scraps into smaller pieces before adding them.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
- Always unplug the disposer before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- The internal processing basket can be removed for thorough cleaning. Wash it with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Ensure it is completely dry before reinserting.
- Clean the lid with warm, soapy water.
Activated Carbon Filter Replacement
The activated carbon filter helps to eliminate odors. It should be replaced periodically, typically every 3-6 months depending on usage, or when you notice odors persisting.
