8. Troubleshooting

  • Device not pairing: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. If using a dual-band router, temporarily disable the 5GHz band during pairing. Make sure the device is in pairing mode (long press the pairing button on the receiver for 5 seconds).
  • No response from app/voice control: Check your internet connection and ensure the smart switch is online in the eWeLink app. Verify that your voice assistant is correctly linked to your eWeLink account.
  • RF remote not working: Check the battery in the RF transmitter. Ensure the RF transmitter is correctly paired with the smart switch module.
  • Light flickering or not turning on: Verify all wiring connections are secure and correct according to the diagrams. Ensure the load does not exceed the maximum wattage.
  • Interference issues: The QIACHIP switch is designed for strong anti-interference (2.4GHz). If issues persist, ensure the switch is not too close to other high-frequency devices.

9. User Tips

  • For optimal performance, ensure your WiFi router is within a reasonable range of the smart switch.
  • Consider grouping multiple smart switches in the eWeLink app for simultaneous control of several lights or appliances.
  • Utilize the scheduling feature to automate daily routines, such as turning on lights at sunset or turning off appliances before bedtime.
  • When installing behind a physical switch, ensure there is enough space in the junction box for the module.
