5. Setup and Installation

5.1. Wiring Diagrams

5.3. App Pairing (eWeLink)

Follow these steps to pair your smart switch with the eWeLink app:

Download and install the eWeLink app from your device's app store.
Open the eWeLink app and log in or create an account.
On the app homepage, click the "Add" button to connect new products.
Select the 2.4 GHz band WiFi network that your device can connect to and enter the password.
The app will search for devices. Once found, select your device and wait for the connection to complete.
Once connected, you can customize the device name (e.g., "Smart Switch").
If the mobile phone fails to detect the product, please press and hold the pairing button on the receiver for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.

6. Operation

6.1. App Control

Once paired, you can control your smart switch directly from the eWeLink app. The app interface will display a power button to toggle the connected appliance on or off. You can also access device settings by clicking the '...' icon in the upper right corner of the device control page.

6.2. Voice Control

The QIACHIP Smart Switch is compatible with popular voice assistants. To enable voice control:

In the eWeLink app, navigate to the device settings page (click '...' in the upper right corner).
Look for 'Third-party Platforms' or similar options to link with Amazon Alexa or Google Home Assistant.
Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your eWeLink account to your preferred voice assistant.
Once linked, you can use voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, turn on the living room lights" or "Hey Google, turn off the bedroom lamp."

In the eWeLink app, go to the device settings for your smart switch.
Scroll down and click on "eWeLink Remote".
Click on the matching button within the app, then press the corresponding button on your 2.4 GHz RF remote control switch.
The app will confirm "Remote added successfully".

7. Maintenance

Keep the device clean and dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures.
Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact qualified personnel for service.
Regularly check wiring connections for any signs of wear or damage.
For RF transmitters, replace the AAA battery when control range decreases or the device becomes unresponsive. To access the battery compartment, gently tear open the panel.

8. Troubleshooting

Device not pairing: Ensure your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. If using a dual-band router, temporarily disable the 5GHz band during pairing. Make sure the device is in pairing mode (long press the pairing button on the receiver for 5 seconds).
No response from app/voice control: Check your internet connection and ensure the smart switch is online in the eWeLink app. Verify that your voice assistant is correctly linked to your eWeLink account.
RF remote not working: Check the battery in the RF transmitter. Ensure the RF transmitter is correctly paired with the smart switch module.
Light flickering or not turning on: Verify all wiring connections are secure and correct according to the diagrams. Ensure the load does not exceed the maximum wattage.
