1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the SANSUI F63 Multifunctional Digital FM Radio Wireless Bluetooth Speaker. This device combines a portable speaker with FM radio, MP3 player, and recording capabilities, designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper operation and to fully enjoy its features.

3. Product Overview

The SANSUI F63 is a compact and powerful speaker featuring a digital display, numeric keypad, and various control buttons. It supports multiple audio input methods and includes a built-in microphone for calls and recording.

3.2 Controls and Ports

The device features a top-mounted keypad and a side panel for various connections.

  • Numeric Keypad (0-9): For direct song selection in MP3 mode or FM frequency input.
  • Mode Button: Switches between Bluetooth, FM Radio, USB, TF Card, and AUX modes.
  • Loop Button: Controls playback loop (e.g., single song repeat, folder repeat).
  • Record Button: Initiates and ends recording.
  • Delete Button: Deletes recorded files.
  • Previous/Next Track Buttons: For navigation.
  • Volume Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts playback volume.
  • Play/Pause Button: Controls media playback.
  • Power Button: Turns the device on/off.
  • USB-A Port: For USB flash drive playback.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

The SANSUI F63 uses two removable 18650 lithium batteries. Ensure they are installed correctly before first use.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the speaker.
  2. Gently slide or pry open the cover.
  3. Insert two 18650 batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the indicators inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the speaker. Use the provided Type-C charging cable.

  1. Connect one end of the Type-C charging cable to the Micro USB port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to a USB power adapter (DC 5V/1A recommended) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator on the display will show charging status.
  4. Charging typically takes 5-6 hours for a full charge.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power button to turn the speaker on or off.

5.2 Bluetooth Mode

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing 'BLUE' on the display.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "SANSUI F63" from the list to pair.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and 'BLUE' will stop flashing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

5.3 FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the 'Mode' button until the display shows FM radio frequency.
  2. Automatic Scan: Long press the 'Play/Pause' button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Manual Tuning: Use the 'Previous/Next Track' buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
  4. Direct Frequency Input: Use the numeric keypad to enter a specific FM frequency (e.g., 105.3) and press 'Play/Pause' to confirm.

5.4 USB/TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB-A port or a TF (MicroSD) card into the TF card slot.
  2. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing MP3 files. If not, press the 'Mode' button to switch to USB or TF card mode.
  3. Use the 'Previous/Next Track' buttons to navigate between songs.
  4. Use the numeric keypad to directly select a song by its number.
  5. Press the 'Loop' button to change playback modes (e.g., repeat all, repeat one).

5.5 AUX Input

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack of your external audio device.
  3. Press the 'Mode' button to switch to AUX mode.
  4. Control playback from your external device.

5.6 Recording Function

The recording function is available in USB/TF card music playback mode.

  1. Ensure a USB flash drive or TF card with sufficient free space is inserted.
  2. Long press the 'Record' button to start recording. The display will indicate recording is active.
  3. During recording, press the 'Record' button again to end the recording.
  4. To play back a recording, short press the 'Record' button.
  5. To delete a recording, navigate to the recording file and long press the 'Delete' button.

5.7 Answering and Making Phone Calls

When connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone:

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the phone call button (usually integrated with Play/Pause or a dedicated button) to answer an incoming call or end an ongoing call.
  • Disconnect Call (Bluetooth mode): Long press the phone call button to disconnect a call.
  • Make Call: Double-click the phone call button to redial the last number.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the speaker away from water, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place and charge it periodically to maintain battery health.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
