- Computer Connections: For each computer (PC1, PC2, PC3, PC4) you wish to connect:
- Connect the USB 3.0 cable from your computer to the corresponding 'USB 3.0' input port on the KVM switch (e.g., PC1 USB 3.0 to KVM PC1 USB 3.0).
- Connect two DisplayPort cables from your computer's graphics card to the corresponding 'DP A' and 'DP B' input ports on the KVM switch (e.g., PC1 DP A to KVM PC1 DP A, PC1 DP B to KVM PC1 DP B).
- Connect one HDMI cable from your computer's graphics card to the corresponding 'HDMI C' input port on the KVM switch (e.g., PC1 HDMI C to KVM PC1 HDMI C).
Note: Each computer's graphics card needs to be equipped with 2 DisplayPort ports and 1 HDMI port to properly connect all three monitors.
- Peripheral Connections: Connect your keyboard, mouse, and other USB 3.0 devices (e.g., printer, scanner, flash drive, HDD) to the USB 3.0 ports on the front panel of the KVM switch.
- IR Extend Cable (Optional): If using the remote control and the KVM switch is out of direct line of sight, connect the IR Extend cable to the 'EXT IR' port on the KVM switch and place the IR receiver in a visible location.

6. Troubleshooting
- No Display on Monitors:
- Ensure all video cables (HDMI, DisplayPort) are securely connected between the computers, KVM switch, and monitors.
- Verify that each computer's graphics card has the required 2 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI output.
- Check if the KVM switch is powered on and the correct input (PC1-PC4) is selected.
- Try restarting the KVM switch and the connected computers.
- USB Peripherals Not Recognized:
- Ensure the USB 3.0 cables are connected from each computer to the corresponding USB 3.0 input on the KVM switch.
- Verify that the USB 3.0 cables are functioning correctly.
- Try connecting the USB peripherals directly to the computer to confirm they are working.
- Remote Control Not Working:
- Check the battery in the remote control.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the KVM switch's IR receiver (or the IR Extend cable).
- Make sure the IR Extend cable is properly plugged into the 'EXT IR' port.
- Intermittent Signal/Flickering:
- Ensure you are using high-quality HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 cables, especially for 8K/4K high refresh rate resolutions.
- Verify that the 12V power adapter is providing stable power to the KVM switch.
- Reduce cable lengths if possible, especially for high-resolution signals.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the KVM switch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
8. User Tips
- Cable Quality: For optimal performance, especially with 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz resolutions, use high-quality, certified HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 cables. Cable length can also impact signal integrity; shorter cables are generally better for higher resolutions.
- Dedicated USB 3.0 Cables: Remember that each computer needs to be connected to the KVM switch with its own USB 3.0 cable for USB peripherals to be recognized and function correctly.
- Graphics Card Requirements: Confirm your computer's graphics card has the necessary 2 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI outputs to support the triple monitor setup.
- Power Stability: The included 12V power adapter is crucial for stable operation, especially when multiple high-bandwidth devices are connected. Ensure it is always connected.
