Setup and Cloning Instructions
This remote control is a duplicator and requires cloning from an existing, functional remote. The cloning process varies slightly depending on whether your original remote uses a fixed code, learning code, or rolling code.
General Cloning Procedure:
Follow these steps to clone your original remote control:
- Clear Existing Codes (if any): Simultaneously press and hold button A and button B on the new remote control. Continue holding until the LED flashes rapidly, then release. This clears any pre-existing codes.
- Initiate Cloning: Place your original remote control and the new remote control side-by-side, approximately 2-3 cm apart.
- Copy Code: Press and hold the button on your original remote that you wish to copy. Simultaneously, press and hold the corresponding button on the new remote where you want to store the code. Continue holding both buttons until the LED on the new remote flashes quickly and steadily. This indicates successful cloning.
- Repeat for Other Buttons: Repeat steps 2 and 3 for any other buttons you wish to program.
Important Note: For fixed code and learning code remotes, the new remote should work immediately after cloning. For rolling code remotes, after cloning, you will need to program or activate the new remote on your garage door opener or gate receiver unit. Refer to your receiver's manual for specific instructions on adding new rolling code remotes.
Visual Guide for Cloning:
The video demonstrates the cloning process. The on-screen text in the video provides the following steps:
- Press and hold button A and press button B four times at same time.
- Release B buttons till LED flashed once every three seconds.
- Put original remote in the front of new remote (about 2-3cm), press the original remote button which need to be copied until the LED of new remote flash quickly (LED have regular flashes).
- Press the button of New remote that you want to use to save the code.

Operation
After successful cloning and any necessary programming for rolling codes, simply press the corresponding button on your new remote control to operate your garage door, gate, or barrier. The sliding cover helps prevent accidental button presses.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement:
The remote control is powered by a CR2032 3V battery. When the remote's range decreases or the LED indicator becomes dim, it's time to replace the battery. To replace, carefully open the back cover of the remote control and insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not working after cloning:
- Ensure the original remote is functional and transmitting a strong signal.
- Verify that the new remote's LED flashes quickly and steadily during the cloning process, indicating successful code transfer.
- If your original remote uses a rolling code, remember that the new remote must also be programmed/activated directly on your garage door opener or gate receiver after cloning.
- Check the battery in the new remote. Replace if necessary.
- Compatibility with community doors/gates:
- Confirm the frequency of your community door/gate remote. This universal remote supports 280-868MHz.
- Identify the code type (fixed, learning, or rolling). While this remote supports all three, rolling codes require additional programming on the receiver.
- Consult your community's management or the gate system's manufacturer for compatibility details and programming instructions for new remotes.
User Tips
- For optimal cloning results, ensure both remotes are very close (2-3 cm) during the copying process.
- If you encounter difficulty cloning a rolling code remote, remember that the cloned remote often needs to be "introduced" or "paired" with the receiver unit of your garage door or gate system. This is a standard security feature for rolling codes.
- The included clip can be used to attach the remote to a visor or other convenient location in your vehicle.
