1. Introduction

The Dcolor GD1 Smart Google Certified TV Stick is a compact streaming media player designed to transform your television into a smart TV. Running on Android TV 11.0, it offers 4K Ultra HD streaming, HDR10+ support, Dolby Audio, and integrated Google Assistant for voice control. With Chromecast built-in, you can easily cast content from your mobile devices to your TV. 3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Dcolor GD1 TV Stick:

  1. Connect the TV Stick to your TV: Plug the Dcolor GD1 TV Stick directly into an available HDMI port on your television.
  2. Connect to Power: Connect the provided USB Type-C power cable to the TV stick. You have two options for power supply:
    • Connect the USB end of the cable to a USB port on your TV for direct power.
    • Alternatively, use a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) and plug it into a wall outlet.
  3. Connect to the Internet: Once powered on, navigate through the on-screen setup to connect your TV stick to your home Wi-Fi network (supports 2.4GHz/5GHz).
  4. Start Streaming: After connecting to Wi-Fi and completing the initial setup, you can begin enjoying your favorite streaming content.

HDMI CEC Function: You can enable the CEC function on both the GD1 TV Stick and your TV for integrated control. For the TV Stick, go to Settings → Device Preferences → HDMI CEC → Enable CEC switch. Refer to your TV's manual for enabling CEC on your television.

4. Operating Instructions

6. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected to both the TV stick and a power source (TV USB port or 5V/1A adapter).
  • No signal on TV: Check that the TV stick is fully inserted into the HDMI port. Try a different HDMI port. Ensure your TV is set to the correct HDMI input source.
  • Remote control not responding: Check the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV stick. The remote uses Bluetooth, so direct line of sight is not strictly required, but interference can occur.
  • Cannot connect to Wi-Fi: Double-check your Wi-Fi password. Ensure the TV stick is within range of your Wi-Fi router. Try restarting your router.
  • Apps not working or slow performance: Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Try clearing the cache of the problematic app (Settings → Apps → [App Name] → Clear Cache). If issues persist, try restarting the TV stick.
  • Google account login required: The Dcolor GD1 TV Stick requires a Google account to function properly and access Google services and the Play Store. Please log in with your Google account during setup or via the settings.
