Setup Guide

  1. Unfolding the Drone:

    Carefully unfold the drone arms until they click into place. Ensure all arms are fully extended and locked.

  2. Battery Installation:

    Insert the fully charged 11.1V 3500mAh modular lithium battery into the drone's battery compartment. Ensure it is securely latched.

  3. Propeller Installation:

    Attach the propellers to the motor shafts as indicated in the diagram (if provided in the physical manual). Use the provided screws and screwdriver to secure them. Ensure correct propeller orientation (A and B types) for each motor.

  4. Remote Controller Setup:

    Charge the remote control battery (11.4V 3500mAh). For models with a standard remote control, attach your mobile device to the controller's holder and connect it via the USB charging cable. For screen remote control models, the display is integrated.

  5. App Installation:

    Download and install the official KEH drone application on your mobile device. The app supports English and Simplified Chinese. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your drone and remote control.

Operating Instructions

Basic Flight:

  1. Power On: Power on the remote control, then the drone. Wait for the drone to connect to GPS (indicated by solid green lights).
  2. One-Key Takeoff/Landing: Press the designated one-key takeoff button on the remote control or within the app to initiate takeoff. Press again for landing.
  3. Flight Controls: Use the joysticks on the remote control to control the drone's ascent/descent, forward/backward, and left/right movements.

Advanced Features:

  • GPS Automatic Return: The drone will automatically return to its takeoff point in case of low battery, loss of signal, or when manually activated via the one-click return function.

    • GPS Intelligent Tracking: The drone follows the GPS signal of the remote control.
    • Image Following: Identify a shooting object in the app, and the drone will automatically follow it.

  • Gesture Shooting: Make specific hand gestures in front of the camera (within 1-3 meters) to trigger photo or video recording.
  • Multi-Point Route Planning: Plan a flight path on the app's map interface, and the drone will autonomously follow the pre-set route.
  • Fixed-Point Surround: Select a center point, then use the joystick to set the desired radius for the drone to orbit around.

Maintenance

  • Battery Care:
    • Charge the drone battery (11.1V 3500mAh) and remote control battery (11.4V 3500mAh) using the provided USB charging cable.
    • Drone charging time: Approximately 6 hours.
    • Remote control charging time: Approximately 3.5 hours.
    • Do not overcharge or completely drain batteries. Store them at approximately 50-60% charge if not used for extended periods.
  • Propeller Replacement:

    If propellers are damaged, replace them immediately using the spare propellers, screws, and screwdriver provided. Ensure the new propellers are installed correctly according to their A/B markings.

  • Cleaning:

    Gently wipe the drone and remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or liquids that could damage electronic components.

  • Storage:

    Store the drone in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When folded, the drone measures 22*12*9CM.

Troubleshooting

  • Drone not powering on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly installed.
  • Loss of signal/control: Check the remote control battery level. Ensure you are within the specified control distance (10000m) and image transmission distance (8000m). Avoid areas with strong electromagnetic interference.
  • Unstable flight: Calibrate the drone's gyroscope and compass as per the app instructions. Check for damaged propellers and replace if necessary.
  • Obstacle avoidance not working: Ensure the obstacle avoidance sensors are clean and unobstructed. Verify the feature is enabled in the app.
  • Poor image quality: Clean the camera lens. Ensure sufficient lighting conditions. Check the SD card (if used) for proper insertion and sufficient space.
  • Drone not returning to home: Ensure GPS signal is strong before takeoff. Check battery level.
