7. Maintenance

  • Placement: Ensure the router is placed in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and obstructions that could block signal or airflow.
  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the router. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Firmware Updates: Regularly check the router's web interface for available firmware updates. Keeping the firmware updated ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
  • Resetting the Device: If the router experiences persistent issues, you can perform a factory reset. Locate the 'RESET' button (often combined with the SIM slot, as shown in Figure 6) and use a pin to press and hold it for approximately 5-10 seconds until the indicator lights change. This will restore the router to its factory default settings.

8. Troubleshooting

No Internet Connection:
  • Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted and active.
  • Verify that the network indicator light is on and stable.
  • Ensure the correct network mode (5G/4G/3G) is selected in the web interface.
  • If using wired broadband, check the Ethernet cable connection and the status of your modem/ONT.
  • Try restarting the router by unplugging and replugging the power adapter.
Slow Wi-Fi Speed:
  • Ensure your devices are connected to the appropriate Wi-Fi band (e.g., 5GHz or 6GHz for higher speeds).
  • Reduce the distance between your devices and the router, and minimize obstructions.
  • Check for interference from other electronic devices.
  • Limit the number of connected devices if performance degrades significantly.
  • Consider using the Band Lock feature to select a less congested frequency band if available in your area.
Cannot Access Web Interface:
  • Ensure your device is connected to the router's network.
  • Verify that you are using the correct IP address (192.168.0.1).
  • Clear your browser's cache or try a different browser.
  • Temporarily disable any VPN or proxy settings on your device.

9. User Tips

  • Network Compatibility: Before inserting your SIM card, confirm that your mobile operator's 5G/4G bands are supported by the router (refer to the Specifications section).
  • Optimal Placement: For the best 5G signal reception, place the router near a window or in an open area, away from large metal objects or thick walls.
  • Regular Reboots: A periodic reboot (e.g., once a month) can help maintain optimal performance and clear any temporary network glitches.

10. Warranty and Support
