6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning Your Device

Despite its rugged design, proper cleaning helps maintain your phone's appearance and functionality.

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the screen and body.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or compressed air, as these can damage the device's seals and coatings.
  • Ensure all port covers are securely closed before cleaning with liquids.

6.2 Battery Care

To maximize the lifespan of your 10800mAh battery:

  • Avoid exposing the phone to extreme heat or cold for prolonged periods.
  • Do not puncture, disassemble, or modify the battery.
  • Use only the original or certified compatible chargers and cables.
  • For long-term storage, charge the battery to around 50% and store in a cool, dry place.

6.3 Screen Protection

The display features Corning 3rd generation glass, but an anti-explosion film is provided for additional protection against scratches and impacts. Apply it carefully following the instructions provided with the film.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your DOOGEE S Cyber, try the following common solutions:

  • Device Not Turning On: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the charger and wait a few minutes before attempting to power on again.
  • Screen Freezes/Unresponsive: Press and hold the Power button for about 10-15 seconds to force a restart.
  • Apps Crashing: Clear the cache of the problematic app (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage & cache > Clear cache). If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app.
  • Poor Network Signal: Check if your SIM card is correctly inserted. Try restarting the phone or toggling Airplane Mode on and off. Ensure you are within network coverage.
  • Charging Issues: Verify that the charger and cable are securely connected and undamaged. Try a different power outlet.
  • Water/Dust Exposure: If the phone has been exposed to water or dust, ensure all port covers are sealed. If wet, allow it to dry completely before charging or opening ports.

For more complex issues, please refer to the official DOOGEE support resources or contact customer service.

8. User Tips

  • Optimize Battery Life: Utilize Android 14's battery optimization features. Close background apps you're not using and reduce screen brightness.
  • Maximize Storage: Regularly clear unnecessary files and app caches. Consider using a TF card for additional storage of media and documents.
  • Custom Button: The DOOGEE S Cyber may feature a customizable side button. Check your phone's settings to assign quick actions for convenience.
  • Ruggedness Best Practices: While rugged, avoid intentionally subjecting the phone to extreme abuse. Always ensure port covers are sealed when near water or dusty environments.

9. Warranty and Support

Your DOOGEE S Cyber comes with a manufacturer's warranty. Please refer to the included Warranty Card for specific terms, conditions, and duration of coverage. Keep your proof of purchase in a safe place.

Important Note: Any alterations to the Android OS, such as unauthorized upgrades or flashing a newer version, will void the warranty. The stated ROM amount reflects the maximum available before the Android OS and pre-installed software occupy space.
