Maintenance

General Cleaning

  • After each use, especially in dirty or dusty conditions, clean the car with a soft brush or cloth.
  • Remove any debris from the wheels, suspension, and chassis to prevent damage.
  • Do not use water directly on electronic components unless the model is specifically rated as fully waterproof.

Battery Care

  • Always disconnect the battery from the car when not in use.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not store fully charged or fully discharged batteries for extended periods. Aim for a storage charge of around 50%.
  • If the battery swells, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it properly.

Inspecting Components

  • Regularly check all screws and fasteners to ensure they are tight.
  • Inspect the tires for wear and tear.
  • Check the suspension components for any damage or bending.
  • Ensure the metal differentials and drive shafts are free from obstructions and operate smoothly.
